  1. I am trying to parse the confusing naming scheme that Lian Li uses and wanted to reach out to a community that would know better than I on which fans I'd like to be sure that I order correctly for my new Lian Li Evo RGB or NZXT H9 Flow build (haven't decided yet which is best between these). I need help selecting fans for the following layout: - black 3 of Lian Li's LCD fans (I think I need the reverse blade to show the LCD screen from the inside). - black 7 of Lian Li's newest RGB infinity mirror fans (3 for the radiator, 3 for the bottom intake (which I think need to be reverse blade for mirrors to be seen from the inside, and 1 for the rear exhaust). Between all the variants of SL, INF, and all the versions, I am unsure which is the newest/highest end of the RGB version of the infinity mirrors. Would anyone be so kind as to provide a direct Amazon link to these so that I can be sure that I get the correct fans for my build, and provide a brief description of if 120 or 140mm options would be best? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
  2. Ooops, you right. My apologies and thank you for catching that. It looks like I found the correct 7800x3d CPU, indeed, which is a relief, lol.
  3. Thank you so much for all the help. It notice that 3D cache is advertised on the 5800 but not the 7800's box, but the 7800 does in fact have the same 3D V-cache feature as the 5800 does, correct? It would seem weird that the 5800x3d has any feature that the 7800x3d does not, so I figure this is just a minor difference in their packaging. Moreover, is this exactly the correct GPU suggested: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BTZB7F88/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ? Just want to be absolutely sure that I purchased the correct 7800x3d that's been suggested here and ensure that I didn't mess anything up with the order. Thanks again.
  4. Thanks so much for the links. One of the last questions I have is if there is any benefit at all in pairing an AMD processor with an AMD GPU like the Radeon over an Nvidia card? I want to say that I read something once that described some potential benefits/features that you may have access to when you pair an AMD processor with an AMD discrete GPU. Can you shine some light on this and if pairing an AMD CPU and GPU has any kind of benefit over simply paring an AMD CPU with an Nvidia GPU?
  5. Oh, so it really does seem like the 7800X3D is the best of the best, as you seem to be echoing the same sentiments as what I've been reading for quite a while about best bang for your buck CPU. - With respect to RAM, I am looking for the best performing Corsair or G. Skill RGB RAM, which to my knowledge, would be either the Dominator or Trident Z Neo series, but I have no idea which speeds and timings would be best, so I'd be so grateful for a direct Amazon link to the best option (a direct Amazon link to the CPU would also be greatly appreciated just to be sure I don't order the wrong stuff). Thanks again.
  6. Hello! I am currently planning a new mid to high end build around Asus TUF Radeon RX 7900 XTX OC edition 24gb and needed some expert assistance on what the best CPU and RAM would be to pair with this card. I will be using this machine for gaming at 2k/4k and work which includes some basic video editing and other general stuff. From my research, one of the most obvious choices appears to be one of the consensus best CPUs the Ryzen 7800X3D but I know there is a strong competitor from the intel side of things. With respect to RAM, I have the choice of going with Corsair or G.Skill for brands and will need a 32gig kit, but other than that, I have no idea what the best RAM kit would be to pair with this GPU and the recommended CPU. In short, I need expert assistance with what the best CPU and RAM (Corsair or G. Skill) kits would be to pair with my RX 7900XTX OC 24gb GPU. To prevent any user error on my end, please provide a direct link to your recommendation, and an additional detailed explanation for your recommendation would be tremendously helpful and appreciated.
  7. Thanks for your quick response. From my understanding, most games aren't very reliant on the CPU, and from what I've gathered. the i5-12600K is a very good processor (yes?). Since I have the i5 on hand brand new, it doesn't seem like it would be worth to purchase a 7800X3D because I don't see many circumstances in which I would notice the difference between the 12600 and the 7800X. Am I correct in this assumption?
  8. Hi there, I am planning to do a custom build soon and need to assistance with finding the very best CPU and RAM to pair with my TUF RX7900XTX. I currently have an i5-12600K and a MSI MAG Tomahawk DDR5 from a previous build but was wondering how well this CPU pairs with the RX7900XTX? I was fortunate to receive both of these components brand new but needed to confirm how well they go together, and if it would be worth it to buy a 7800X3D, or if the i5 I have pairs just fine with this GPU? Moreover, I'd like to know what RAM would be best paired with these two components, as I have the choice between Corsair Dominator DDR5 and G.Skill tridents (with a preference for the Dominator's). I will be using the PC for basic remote work and consistent gaming at 4k on an LG OLED C3. Any suggestions with reasoning for your recommendation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advanced.
  9. I am in the market for a new Windows laptop and would like to request expert assistance with finding the very best product for me. I have about $1000-1500 to spend (but prefer closer to 1k if possible), and overall, I am looking for the very best bang for my buck that matches the following specs below. I will be using this laptop as a desktop replacement; primarily for remote work online and don’t want to lag with multiple external monitors, multiple programs open, and dozens of tabs, so the fastest SSD, RAM, and battery life are very important to me. I would like a 14-15” size and will be using multiple external monitors with it (one is a 4k OLED and the other is a 3440 ultrawide. I would love an expert's opinion on the best hub to go along with this computer as well) while at home, and will be using the laptop monitor for many hours when traveling, so I would also like the very best 2k+ resolution OLED or miniLED screen I can get. I also like to play the occasional game so a discrete GPU would be cool but a high end one isn’t entirely important, although one would probably help me with the uses I’ve described above. The research I have done seems to bring me to the following laptops that seem to consistently be considered the best laptops of 2023: The Asus Zenbook 14X and 14 OLED. The Lenovo Legion, 9i, 7i, and 5i. The LG gram Lenovo slim Build quality and esthetics are very important to me as well, and it seems that the new Ryzen CPUs are now being implemented into new laptop models, and from my research, they seem to be much more power efficient than their Intel counterparts, so I would like to hear an experts opinion on that as well. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide!

  11. Yeah, I actually have a 3440x1440 ultrawide atm so it looks like the Red Devil 6950XT here @ $630 w/ a free game is the best deal (https://shorturl.at/gmIQ9) and I'm pretty sure the one at this link is the right design you recommended and is exactly the best option for price/performance. The red devil is currently the same price as the ASRock Phantom version of the card currently on Newegg, but like you said, the Red Devil appears to have the slight edge. I have read that some like the XFX Speedster Merc version of the card (https://shorturl.at/dhxE1) but it appears that the Red Devil is higher quality build all around, and is the highest quality 6950XT available. Greatly appreciate all the help!
  12. Damn, then it really does seem like the Red Devil RX 6950XT for $629 for 10% off on Amazon right now (https://shorturl.at/lrFKM) is a quite the deal (also comes with a free game) and may be the sweet spot. Top tier build quality and performance but not too expensive. Now just need to decide if the price diff between the 6800XT and the 6950XT Red Devils is worth based on performance diff between them. Ty for all your help, especially in comparing the ASRock vs the Red Devil. I had no idea that the build quality of the RD was even better than the ASrock.
  13. Ah, thanks so much. I had no idea the difference in build quality or that the Red Devil was Strix level and this appears to be a pretty good price for the Red Devil 6950XT (https://shorturl.at/eqsJN). It's pretty expensive but I saw you mentioned earlier the RX 7900XT if I could hold off or save up a bit more. I just found this one (https://shorturl.at/vGS14) which, according to your previous post, is a really good price for a card like this--correct? The price is pretty high but given your recommendation on the build quality of the PowerColor's I'm not sure if it would be worth. I'm not too familiar with the naming schemes for this company but its seems that the Hellhound might be the Red Devil equivalent tier of build quality, just for the 7900XT line of cards? If you had to recommend a top tier 7900XT, which would you recommend?
  14. Thank you very much for the recommendation and the explanation, especially as I haven't really heard of this brand before. I have gotten a lot of recommendation to get the ASRock Phantom 6950XT seen here: https://rb.gy/j3jyk but this is the first time I've seen the card you've recommended. Given your experience and understanding of VRMs, PCBs, and cooling solutions, how does the red devil power color card you recommended compare to the ASRock (https://rb.gy/j3jyk)--how would you compare them personally if you were going to decide on a purchase between them? Ty again.
  15. I also notice that between the 7900XT vs the 6950XT is RDNA 2 vs RDNA 3. Given that there only appears to be ~$100 difference between these two cards, I am considering bumping even to the 7900XT if there's a significant difference--especially between RDNA 2 vs 3. In independent review however, a lot of people tend to recommend the 6800xt as the very best bang for your buck. Some suggest that the price difference between the 6800XT and the 6950XT aren't worth, but not too sure. Can anyone shed some light on the comparison?
