All the issues that were raised seems to have been fixed. They might not be the best security wise but they do not seem to be bad either (with these fixes).

There where some misleading advertising so depending on how you feel about that. Personally, I think pretty much all companies do false advertising, although the seriousness is a scale rather than binary. So it depends on how serious you think the lies where.

If you are serious about privacy, then my recommendation is to stay aware from these types of cameras to begin with. I would especially not recommend a device from Google. That's like asking if you should drink bleach because you heard Coca Cola was bad unhealthy. If you really want a camera, then I think Eufy seems to be one of the better alternatives right now. Their products are better now than they were before the scandal broke.

There were some people reporting that you can find the serial number on some of the boxes, iirc

*edit* I decided to do a quick google search for Eufy camera boxes
    As an example,
    https://www.ebay.ca/itm/165208353517
I could be wrong, but the image from the bottom of the box really seems like a serial number.  It also seems the serial number is based on model numbers as well.  So with others mentioning online mentioning you can find it on the box, and the bottom number matching the length of a serial number I'd lean towards it being the serial number.

I'd suggest installing TrueNAS, setting up SAMBA shares for windows sharing, and FTP for anything you might need to send/receive remotely.

I'd also suggest a 4RU chassis, if you need short depth, for only ATX/ITX I suggest a silverstone.

it doesn't come with hotswap bays, but you can add them if you really really need them. with two of the hot-swap bays it holds 10 Larger Disks, with space for some laptop drives that aren't hot swappable.

TrueNAS also allows for native plugins for PLEX, Minecraft servers, Cloud tools, and a bunch more. it also allows for VMs if you need a better, more custom solution.

always make sure your network can handle the traffic you throw at it too. setting up a NAS with a 10/100 NIC isn't the best idea.

NFS = Need for Speed, not terribly demanding. There are no fan controls in nvidia settings and you need to download their System Monitor, which refuses to run, kind of a known issue with it.

yeah, someone needs to call Dr House on this case... Flipping the PSU just dropped my idle GPU temps from 55C to 45C. It's one of those cards by default dead set on not spinning its fans...

Well, it does look like the IO panel itself could indeed be replaced. I poked around, tried to tighten the two screws holding the assembly, but everything was already tight. Put the front back on, no issues. Also realized that I installed the PSU the wrong way, with the fan facing the solid front panel.🤦‍♂️

Today is the LAST day of the Epic Games Store Christmas giveaway!
Day 15 (29th of December) : Dishonored - Definitive Edition
(if it says "unavailable", try again later. EGS is like that when it's overloaded by demand.)

If you haven't played Dishonored, do yourself a service and play it. Well worth having a second game launcher on your PC (Just make it so it doesn't start with Windows if you hate it that much, it ain't hard!).

You're somehow mentioning both ends of "extremely accurate" and "super basic and impractical" while completely missing the point that was right in the middle with "a convenient device you can just plop your battery in and get a sufficiently good idea".

Agreed on the wattage, just not sure this 9 year old PSU is in good shape at this point. I did double-check all the IO to MB connections, but you do make an excellent suggestion re: board in the case itself -- thanks, I will at least take a look. There were signs that this case was someone's return (a few screw markings where there shouldn't be any in a brand new case) and come to think of it FP IO problem could be a serious reason to return a case. I wonder if that assembly alone could be replaced...

We are currently using the machine wide installer, under both /ALLUSER and /ALLUSERS.
However, I have not seen that registry yet. What's the path for it? I currently have a broken instance, so I'd like to test this out.
    Thank you again.

    Teams on VDIs is a HUGE pain, here's my questions ;

    - are you guys using the machine wide installer ?
    - have you blocked the "Allow my organization to manage my device” in the registry ?

From the tests we did, you don't really have a choice to have Teams data be in each user profile and not on the machine (even with the "machine wide installer"). We're using FSlogix for the user profiles so that this stuff follows them regardless of the VM they login. It's still buggy but blocking the "Allow my organization to manage my device” fix most of the problems we had ... but we still have regular issues and have to wipe whole profiles from time to time.

If you have profile management, you should also add the Teams folders to the profile container.

Installing drivers via device manager isn't very reliable. Since it's an Intel board you could try using Intels Driver & Support Assistant to update your drivers. Also update your BIOS if you didn't already.

If those things don't work try and boot in to a Live Linux system. Just download a Linux distro with GUI(like ubuntu), make a bootable USB flash drive with the program Rufus and boot from the flash drive. If your Mouse/Keyboard work then the problem stems from Windows. If it still does not work something on your Mainboard or BIOS is at fault.

Also just to clarify: The USB Sticks you used are they all USB 3.0? If so you could try with a USB 2.0 drive and see if you run into the same problem.

I recorded the video, It was an easy fix.

Don't forget to make sure that the BIOS is in Legacy mode before you proceed.
You will need to boot into the Windows installer from a USB drive and follow what i did in the video.

In the video the disk you select has to be the OS drive, otherwise it won't work.

If you end up coming back around, run HWInfo64 in the background while you’re playing games. Tell it to record a log. It’ll spit out an excel file that will give us more clues. I’ll go through it when I’ve got a chance. Just upload it here and note one of the stutters. (If it happens at 1:05 am system time let me know that’ll make it easier to find in the log)

Yeah don't listen to that guy, the PSU is more than fine, you could run your setup on a 550w PSU and have plenty room left.

For the RAM, you could run memtest to see if it's the issue, or trying the RAM in different configurations, like 1 stick only, etc... (sorry, didn't read the whole thread so maybe you did already?).
