I personally use this feature for my documents and pictures folders ; they're on a mirrored drive (simple RAID 1) and are backed up by OneDrive on top.

If you keep lots of files on your desktop and you have a small SSD, you can move it to the HDD, but it's not a necessity and won't make a difference in performance. This will only affect transfer speed if you need to move large files off your Desktop folder.

That's completely wrong, all user folders have a location tab, this lets you move any folders to another drive (I'm guessing in case you have a very small SSD as your OS drive and wants to have your documents or download folder on a larger drive) ;

* thread locked * Sorry, we can't help with circumventing this type of security, if you own the laptop you're better off reinstalling Windows to remove any and all bloatware.

What happens when I cancel my order on Canada Computer?
WkdPaul replied to Whooses's topic in General Discussion
I've canceled orders from Canada Computers before, it takes a few days for it to go through but you should get all your money back. Canada Computers is annoyingly slow, don't expect Amazon shipping speed, or the same customer service level. I've had something pending for 2 months once ... I complained enough that I got a $20 credit and got my product, but I've now learned my lesson and will only buy something in store if it's in stock and nothing else.- 8 replies

Snail mail is turning out to be a painfully accurate description. Only international shipping company I haven't had many issues with is DHL, Fedex is one of the worst I've had to deal with, as for the respective country postal services, I tread it as "I would like this, but I can live without it and I won't be expecting it anytime soon" type of thing (especially if it's coming from HK or Mainland China

Not sure I understand the craze ; Windows 11 isn't necessary for the moment and if you really need Windows 11, wait until it's out, by that time you might get an upgrade that make your computer compatible, and if not, just wait it out and see if it's really worth it or not since Windows 10 is still supported until 2025 !!! This is similar to the TP or fuel hoarding ... panic buying is dumb.

True, she was careless, she should've had a spotter, so that if it missed her face, he would've caught it with his face !

That's what I originally had, but I thought it had something to do with the way I wrote it (though I never had issues with that before), that's why I mentioned I had multiple iterations of those choices. Wasn't aware of that and never had issues previously, might be a good idea to switch ! Thanks to that info !

Nice to see the password jumper being identified ! I haven't had to use the password jumper in a while, but the last time it was on a 2nd gen Intel Dell and that wasn't identified anywhere. Dell support had the info though.
