Did you ran memtest? https://www.memtest86.com/ Another test would be to use only 1 stick of RAM (try a few sticks) Did you check Crystaldisk to see if it could be a storage issue? When there's slow downs, check the performance tab in the task manager and see if there's anything abnormal with memory, CPU utilization, storage access time, etc. -

My wife is a mechanical engineer so I showed her Fusion 360 and it was EXTREMELY easy and familiar to her, she gave me a few "crash courses" (with some YT help) and I kinda get it better now, some things are easier and faster in Fusion, but I still have a problem getting used to the UI and all the various ways of editing, it really is a complete different way to work. I'm still figuring out Blender since it's a bit different, but I find it so much easier to navigate, and the shortcuts are (for the most part) similar to other 3D modeling softwares so I barely had to look up any docs or YT videos (looked up YT videos and articles for shortcuts). For exemple, I exported a character model from a game, and within 2 hours, I had extensively modified it and corrected it for 3D printing ... compare that to Fusion 360, where it took me almost an hour making a cube with a few extrusions!

This is an ongoing issue with Amazon, there's a YTber that got rocks instead of a $5k SLR camera ... twice. I still buy from Amazon, but I try to avoid big ticket items, and HDD ; there's a scam where people get a large HDD (8TB +) and send back a 500GB-1TB drive back for refund. People have gotten those returns from brand new and open box items. Returns SHOULD be verified, all the time, every time, but we all know Amazon wants every little bit of time from their employees and so they squeeze them dry, and that's the result (I had something similar happen with a purchase, got the wrong item, same company, 2 different but similar products, one is more expensive ... bought the expensive one, but got the cheaper model and it was obviously a return scam (the box had return stickers on it identifying it a the more expensive model)). Sadly, we can't all buy local for various reasons (lack of choices, or because of prices), but unless Amazon makes changes, this is going to be a recurring problem. -
First few prints went well.
I already printed a direct extruder bracket !
I'm waiting for the all metal extruder head, the stiff springs and PEI bed to do it all at once.
In the meantime, I'm printing some Heroquest minis and furniture!

it's all good, shit happens, we just want to make sure people look up the correct bill after all (though I didn't check the article, I found it somewhere else) ; 88R HB 896, since that's the one being discussed here. Just Googling up 896 might send people to another older bill and it could get confusing.

Wife was playing on the PS4 while I was looking at some YT videos.
Was watching a few sketches from Steven He and ProZD on my phone ... she heard both and watched a bit while on loading screens, then on a third sketch, she dropped this ;
"Why are you watching Asian YTbers, don't you have enough Asians at home ?" (for those unaware, my wife is Chinese)
Best "dad joke" she ever came up with !!! We couldn't stop laughing for 5 minutes straight

Zoom inverted, constraints when something is created from the origin, and the UI menu and tools are the main issues I'm having with Fusion 360. When I got Blender open it felt like home @Levent I don't need any of the simulation features, I'm only doing some modeling for 3D printing and modifications (I also do some Pepakura on the sime and do some modeling for that too). Thing is, I have experience with 3D modeling software for games and animation since the early 00' and have no experience with any CAD software, I thought my experience could be transfered easily, but they really are 2 style of softwares and aren't anywhere near the same!

Yes and no, it was originally published by Autodesk, but made by another company that Autodesk bought, I'm old enough to have used 3DS before it was called "Autodesk 3ds max" It's now internally developed by Autodesk, but not by the same teams that work on Fusion 360 and their CAD software

With the 3D printer purchase, I decided to follow the recommendations to get Fusion 360 for modeling stuff ... What a mistake that was!!!!
If you have experience with CAD softwares, or no experience at all, I guess it's fine, but if you have experience with 3D softwares like 3DS, Maya, Softimage, Cinema4D and similar, then DO NOT get Fusion 360, get Blender!!!!!
A simple design in Fusion 360 took me almost 45 minutes and a few YouTube tutorials, took me a few minutes to redo it in Blender ... I'll keep Fusion 360 for edge cases, but holy is that software completely unintuitive!!!!

So, Nvidia backed off with the 4080 12 GB, but secretly launched a 3060 8GB that's much slower, but within a few dollars of the 12GB card ... IMO it's extremely misleading since it's not clear at all that this is a completely different model.

I haven't tried any ray tracing games yet, didn't have any installed because I had a 1060 3GB right before the 1070 (got the 1070 at the beginning of the year but didn't game much, with the 6700 xt I plan to correct that but I need to move my 4TB drives from my NAS to my PC first! ).

@TVwazherestarted reading threads on different forums and on Reddit, seems like for some it's the UI, while for others it's the print quality, where they get a visible difference in artifacts and layer lines. It's rather interesting, I'll get Prusa slicer and I'll experiment. Got myself 1kg of filament, and I already have miniatures I want to print!!
