Trying to update a server, from 2008R2 to 2012R2, and then to 2016 ...

2012R2 installer : hey, you need to update those drivers, until then I won't install!!!

ME : goes to the card manufacturer website, websites mentions 2012R2 built-in drivers will work and so they don't have drivers for that SCSI card past 2008R2 ...
