Sent my last car to the graveyard, it was still working but it had LOTS of electrical problems (with accessories, not with the engine) and was past making sense of fixing, rust was talking over and parts like wheel bearings and axles were starting to make noises.

Had it more than 6 years, bought it because my wife was pregnant and with a baby coming it was almost a necessity.

Farewell shitbox!!

    Repairs must’ve been expensive

What are you moving to next? I'm really considering trading in my Honda FIt for a 4Runner.

My family had an Audi a6 for 17+ years but it started breaking down often so my parents replaced it with a Citroen grand Picasso c4. It was used but not that much and it was only 14000 its big and very economic. Its even more economic than our small car (scoda fabia manual)

It reminds me of our old car Ford Lynx 2002. We bought it used and served us well for 5 years until we decided to sell it. If there's one thing about Ford vehicles is that repairs can be expensive but the gas mileage is amazing even with unleaded gasoline.

@hey_yo_ repairs were cheap at first, but the accumulation of it all would've been more than it would've made sense, like I said it was getting electrical problems (electric locks, horn and other small things would work intermittently).

I had repaired the suspension table, sway bar links and other direction/suspension parts last year and that was a few hundreds, if I fixed everything else this year it would've been a lot more.

Loved the fuel economy when doing long distance, was getting low 6l/100km (38-39 mpg).

@Theguywhobea already have another car, we were looking for something a lot more recent but seeing as I'm losing my job, we settled on a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander AWD :)

I'm guessing that's diesel fuel as diesel can be cheap

lol not even, it's a regular Hyundai Elantra 2002, not diesel. It just had great fuel consumption on the highway, but was crap in the city (was getting double that ... Or half if you're in MPG xD )
