  1. Excellent! Thank you for the quick replies, much appreciated.
  2. So I currently have a very nice PSU, the EVGA 850W SuperNOVA G2 for my single card setup. I want to upgrade to 2 EVGA 1080 FTW's with the plan on upgrading to 4K soon. So will the 850W be enough? Should I move up to the 1000W version? Thanks for any advice.
  3. Hello, I'm a little confused on something and hoping someone can help. I'm setting up my Phanteks Enthoo Luxe (and PWM hub) and Corsair H100i GTX and fans. The way I have it set up i have the cable from the phanteks hub going into the cpu fan header on the motherboard, and the fans from the h100i GTX going into the cpu_opt header on the motherboard, and the rest of the fans into the hub. Is this how I should be doing it? If not can anyone give me a little guidance on the best way? Also it's not clear if I plug the hub into the motherboard if I also need to hook up the 12v sata power cable that's on the hub as well? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
  4. I had an Amazon gift card, wound up getting the Classified for $635 including tax and shipping, couldn't be happier!
  5. I don't buy the whole "just wait for xxx to come out" thing. Most recently people were saying just wait for Skylake. Well Skylake came out, some people were less than impressed, so now I'm seeing people say don't get Skylake, just wait for Cannonlake. There is always something new around the corner. If you keep "just wait" ing, you'll never finish your rig. If you have the money and know what you want, get it. You can always upgrade later. Just my opinion.
  6. Once again thank you, giving me good info to think over. I won't be buying it before Christmas, so maybe I'll wait and see how things shake out. Thanks again.
  7. Alright thanks for the help, will wait for the ASUS!
  8. Hello everyone, I have a question wether my upcoming rig I'm building will be strong enough to power the Acer X34 Predator monitor. I thought it would be, as I'm building a pretty strong machine, but have heard some things to the contrary. The pertinent pieces of my machine: i7-6700k - overclocked, obviously Corsair H100i GTX EVGA GTX 980 Ti Classified - overclocked, obviously 16 GB of GSkill TridentZ DDR4 3000 EVGA Supernova 850w G2 So am I worried about nothing? Will I really need to go SLI for this monitor? Help me out please! Thanks!
  9. I am also interested in this, as I also have been thinking about getting this monitor and saw it is on sale at Newegg. I realize I'm not adding anything to this thread other than the same interest.
  10. I have added this into my current build wishlist, can't wait for it to be available!
  11. So I just bought a Corsair h100i GTX for the brand new build I will be doing. I am purchasing the parts for the build in stages, and this is one of the first parts i bought. It was $99 at Amazon, and I had a $75 gift card, so after taxes I payed $31 for it. Couldn't pass that up. My question is, is there a "shelf life" for the pre applied thermal paste? I won't be building the computer for a couple months, and possibly longer, is there any issue with this? Thanks for any advice.
