  1. Personally, i'd try 2no. of the NF-P12 in the front as the static pressure my help and put the stock fans back in at the rear and top and just take a measurement and compare the results. Also just check you CPU cooler hasnt come loose just as a precaution as mentioned above. Id deffo upgrade that cooler even if you dont plan to overclock. Running the CPU at lower temps in never a bad thing. Also try tuning you fan curves, it may take a while to get it right but dont give up. Took me ages to find the right balance for my system. I doesnt make sense your gaing temps, just check the airflow channel using your hand or a scap of paper to visualise the airflow path. Also uses your GPU temps to guage performance changes
  2. The noctua redux P series of fans are designed for static pressure. Based upon the design of the H510 it is better suited to airflow fans as theres no restrictions insdie the case in the form of HDD cages or radiators. The stock fans are airflow optimised judging by the style of the blades and they perform better in unrestricted airflow applications. I persnoally noticed a difference going to NF-F12 pressure fans in the front of my case as it has HDD cages in the front and therefore can be restrictive.
  3. In terms of a replacement cooler, if your motherboard doesnt have great or any VRM cooling id recommend a down draft cooler to keep supplemental airflow over the board. It'll help increase the lifespan of your parts.
  4. Noctua fans are excellent, i have many myself but if you dont have the raw surface area to dissapate the heat you can have the best fans in the world and it wont make any real difference. Stock coolers are adaquate and thats it. The dont really care about noise and or temps as long as they are within limits.
  5. I wouldnt place a intake and an exhaust at the front, theyll just end up fighting each other. Also with the H510 having a solid front panel theres a limit how much air youll get through it via the side intakes. Large amounts of tempered glass and solid panels leads to higher temps. no getting around that.
  6. If you're really concerned about noise I would invest in a better CPU cooler and anything above $25-$30 like a Hyper 212 series or equivalent will beat a stock cooler by miles. This will bring CPU temps down and therefore noise.
  7. Strange I know that those fans are more pressure optomised than the stock ones but it shouldnt really have massive differences. With regards to the 100% at startup dont worry, mine does that also until the fan control kicks in and shuts half of them off
  8. Alot of them were made. AMD: 3870x2 4870x2 5970 6990 7990 R9 295X Pro Duo nVidia: 7950GTX 9800 gx2 GTX 295 GTX 590 GTX690 TITAN Z
  9. Any 32bit OS will limit you to 3.5gb ish of RAM, you need a 64 bit OS to utilise any more than that. Be aware that 7 home premium has a 16gb ram limit too.
  10. So, my steelseries 6gv2 is finally dying after 5 ish years of hard use and a few spills and its time to replace it. With the time of years it is it seems a good time to replace it with something different rather than by another one. I like the feel of cherry mx blacks and the design of the 6gv2. I need it to be avaliable in a UK layout as cant get along wiith the different enter key on US layout and have owned a black widow ultimate stealth and didnt like the feel of the swithches. Also ten-keyless is not an option as i need the numberpad. Backlighting is also a desire of mine. Feel free to hurl your suggestions at me. Price is not a major issue. Thanks in advance
  11. almost makes the need for a big tv extinct
  12. cheers guys but managed to source some of the LTT noctua fans and got those instead. Cheers for the help though
  13. Wondering if anyone can give me some advice on the best 120mm white fans on the market. Price isn't really an issue but would prefer not to spend the earth on them. Need to have decent SP as they are gonna be going through a rad or 2 Don't care about whether they are led as i will have led strips in the case as well. Also gonna need 140mm ones too so if they come in 140mm all the better. Cheers
  14. looks good, nice to see dell adding dedicated gpus that are actually half decent to mid range machines. Would want an ssd though but its cheap enough to add one yourself if you good with having to reinstall.
