  1. Yeah, forgot to mention the plan is to add 3tb within the first month or two.
  2. The plan is for this to be my gateway into PC gaming. I don't think I'll play many really testing games, since the majority of my buddies play on consoles but I would like the machine to handle the majority of what I throw at it at 1080p. The machine will also be used for school work and possibly some video editing here and there.
  3. So I'm planning my first PC build on a budget of ~£1000 w/ monito in a mini ITX chassis (due to space restrictions). This is what I've got so far and wanted to get your opinions and see if there's any changes you would make. Case: Phanteks Evolv ITX Motherboard: MSI Z97i AC Processor: Intel i5-4690k GPU: MSI GTX 960 Gaming 4G RAM: 2x4gb Hyperx Fury 1866mhz CPU Cooler: Corsair H60 SSD: 120gb Sandisk SSD plus PSU: EVGA Supernova NEX650G Monitor: Asus VG248QE Thanks for any advice, James
  4. So, I want to put a corsair H60 in my Phanteks evlov itx case (1 200mm intake in the front and 1 140mm exhaust added to the rear) If I were to mount the radiator to the top rear of the case, would it make more sense to mount the fans as an exhaust or as an intake like the corsair manual suggests?
  5. Would you mount this on the back of the case? I'm using an h60 to cool the CPU.
  6. I posted a topic yesterday (http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/402463-best-mini-itx-case-for-my-build/) asking for advice on a mini itx case for my first PC build. I've narrowed my thoughts down to the two in the title and was wondering what you guys opinions were. Thanks, James
  7. For the case I'm looking at under £80 (around 130usd) however I am flexible on price.

  9. So, I'm looking to build my first PC and I'm pretty damn limited when it comes to space (hence the m-itx footprint). I've pretty much locked down all my components except for the case and was wondering if you guys could chip in with any ideas on what mini ITX case might suit me best. (based on cooling, how easy it is to build in etc...) Here's my build so far... Intel i5 4690k Corsair h55 water cooler MSI Z97i AC Motherboard MSI GTX 960 Gaming 4G EVGA NEX650G PSU 120gb SSD (with plans to add a mechanical hard drive later) Thanks in advance for any input.
