  1. Personally prefer the extreme aesthetically, unfortunately already got a 970 but would be sweet to try a 980.
  2. Congrats guys, hope the channel and community continues to grow into the future. I personally enjoy the peripheral videos and build guides the most.
  3. Func ms-3 is pretty huge so might be worth considering. The rival might suit as well, haven't used it myself but from what I remember it was a fairly long mouse so slightly more aimed at larger hands.
  4. I've got the original and love it, it is a pretty huge mouse though so suits larger hands, and even then takes some serious getting used to, or did for me at least after years of using standard shaped mice. I would much prefer it over a deathadder, but that's just my preference, I've had some bad experiences with razer gear in general so I'm a bit skewed away from them anyway.
  5. I had the Vespula for a couple months, hated it. The rest was alright but the texture on either side of the actual mat destroyed the bottom of my mamba in like a couple weeks. Much prefer soft mats, I don't use any with rests anymore but it shouldn't be too hard to find a simple small mat with a rest if you don't need it to be too large or anything.
  6. I've got the 598's and love them, most comfortable headphones I've owned, sound great. Although you could save some cash and get the 558's and do the foam mod or whatever it is, supposed to be pretty much exactly the same apart from aesthetics.
  7. The logitech g930's are probably worth considering. Not the best headset ever but the only wireless headset I've had experience with. Really solid, decent software, sound decent, mic's decent. Nothing incredible but a pretty solid headset all around. Customer service is pretty good as well from when I had to deal with them.
  8. Mainly the screen size. Honestly never heard of dbrand until this video, pretty cool that you can customise your phone that much with that level of quality though, but not something I would spend money on myself.
  9. The back buttons and the simple fact that it's worlds ahead of the pos xperia arc I've been using for like 3 years.
  10. Yeah check out the ms-3, I don't have the newer version but I still really enjoy the mouse, and I also have quite large hands. It's does take some serious getting used to coming from ordinary mice shapes like the sensei or mamba, but its the most comfortable mice I've used so far for a larger hand. The new rival is also interesting since it is fairly long and has an optical sensor but I guess that's personal preference and I haven't had the chance to hold one yet so hard to say.
  11. I've got the hd598's and love them, but looking at what you've listed you like and are looking for I'm not sure they would be what your after since they are open back and wired. I had a set of logitech g930's before the hd598's and they were decent, although fairly expensive, but they do seem closer to what your looking for, the wireless is pretty solid if you don't have any otherwireless periferals (I had problem with them and a wireless mouse at the same time, but without it they ran fine even with a wireless card), closed back and has surround. Take some getting used to since they are fairly heavy and I was getting headaches when I first started using them. The build quality is pretty good, but not great for the price, but the customer service is pretty good so its not that big a deal, I returned mine twice and got a new set each time. The software can be a bit temperamental as well, but as a whole isn't too bad, the volume and g buttons are also pretty useful. A decent headset to look at anyway since it seems to be closer to what your looking at, good luck finding something you like though.
  12. That's nuts, and fairly depressing to hear, although not that overly surprising I guess.
  13. I've heard of some guys having trouble with driver stability and general quality of the m-audio stuff (specifically the fast track units), but haven't tried one myself. I've only really heard good thing about the scarlett 2i2, seems like a well built simple interface, I've got a friend who has one and loves it. I personally have a roland quand-capture and love it, but something like that seems like it would be far more than you need if all your looking at interfaces for is to hook up a mic with an xlr connection.
  14. Yeah I agree with dylan on the kraken pro, if your looking around that price and are set on having a headset, there are a bunch of better options. The siberia v2's like he mentioned are just pretty well regarded headsets in general, personally I'm more of a headphone/mic guy so can't say much more since I stopped using headsets a little while ago.
