Hey everyone, I am looking to upgrade my CPU from a i5-6600K to either a i7-8700K or a Ryzen 2700X. But I do not know for sure which one would be best for my use. I mostly will be gaming and the occasional streaming. The games that I mostly play are Rainbow six siege, Battlefield, and Farcry 5. I was thinking that the i7 would be the best choice for me seeing how I rarely use applications like Premier or Photoshop, but when I do it is for editing videos. But I can't really decide what to get. I am looking for some advice on what to get. P.S. I should also mention that I typically play on either 4k or 1440p, and my graphics card is a GTX 1080. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hey everyone I was wondering if I would be able to use EVGA's 1080 Hybrid cooling kit to cool my MSI GTX 1080 Founders Edition. On the Newegg and Amazon listing for it, it says "it will work with any 'reference' 1080/1070." But I thought I heard somewhere that the PCB's of the founders edition cards were modified from company to company. For obvious reasons I don't to buy this and come to find out it baked my card vram or other things, heck even just not being able to fit. Hey everyone, I am going to college pretty soon and I heard of a family member creating a storage server that would automatically backup all of the computers that were connected, even if they were in a different state, as long as they were online. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good way to setup a backup server like this, where I can be down state at college and have my backup server at home making a backup of the documents I have on my computer. I would like to do this as cheaply as possible. I do not have a server up and running yet but that is to come soon I just want to get some ideas of the easiest way to have an automatic backup server for school. Thanks everyone.
