  1. So a 60Hz HDMI 2.0 monitor seems to be a little rare. I've found the Asus PA328Q supports 4k at 60fps but it's a cool £1k. Hmmm, I'll keep looking but guessing this is going to be the norm.
  2. OK, will check. So yeah if it supports HDMI 2 then I'll need a monitor that also supports this (makes sense :-)). I don't think the Asus supports HDMI 2 so that's already out the window. From a quick search this article seems to suggest it supports HDMI 2 though suggests buying a "premium" cable to get the full 60fps: http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2016/09/09/premium-ps4-pro-hdmi-hdmi-2-0-cable-needed-for-4k-support/
  3. I'd like to have a 4k screen as PS4 Pro will have some 4k games (though mostly 2k upscaled to 4k).
  4. I'm looking at what options there are for a 4k 60hz screen to use with the upcoming PS4 Pro. If it was a PC I would probably look at the likes of the ASUS PG27AQ but I read that the HDMI doesn't support full 60hz. Is this correct? A monitor (rather than a TV) would work better for me as I can also connect the screen to my work laptop, like I currently do with a cheap 1080 screen, but open to any suggestions you may have. So basically I'm after nothing bigger than a 27-28in screen to go on a desk mount that will give me a good display for the PS4 Pro for FPS games and can be plugged into a work laptop too.
  5. Thanks for the note. I'll be putting in an order in about a week. :-) Scan still says 22nd so keeping an eye on both.
  6. OC tell me that for ultra settings to work on new game 2x GTX 980Ti's for 50-60fps would be needed. They don't seem to know when they have stock so perhaps the 18th date is wrong?
  7. A review would be most welcome. I can't find anything yet - but of course it is very early. :-)
  8. Ah, didn't notice that on OC. Thank you! :-) And thanks for the link.
  9. Thanks for the info. Then it's their next GPU in 2018. Never ending... :-)
  10. I think this is mine: http://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-GTX-980-Graphics-1152MHz/dp/B00O9F5LI8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1455716708&sr=8-1&keywords=msi+980+afterburner
  11. Yeah I've seen that. It doesn't quite look like mine. Mine has the Afterburner cover and one fan. From memory I think Chillblast overclocked it so they'll probably do the same for the second one. Thanks for the link though. :-)
  12. It's an MSI Afterburner GTX 980. I did have a look around and were getting prices from £450-480. so Chillblast's price seems OK and makes sure I get the exact same card.
  13. The Asus PG348Q is still not out in the UK yet: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus-pg348q-rog-swift-34-3440x1440-ips-g-sync-100hz-gaming-widescreen-curved-led-monitor-black-re-mo-089-as.html Scan says it's due on 22nd February: https://www.scan.co.uk/products/34-asus-pg348q-nvidia-g-sync-100hz-curved-ips-panel-3440x1440-5ms-10001-dp-v12-hdmi-usb-30-tilt-heig
