I have a keepass database which I keep on a cloud platform that is synced on my phone, desktop and laptop. If I edit a password and save the file, it will automatically be synced on my other devices. Of course it's a bit less secure since if someone manages to get in the cloud environment they can delete or take my database file, but since it's protected with another password I'm not to afraid of that happening. Also don't I keep the password to my gmail account in that database, so even if I loose that database I can recover all the accounts I care about.

It sound like he has found a webiste that requires login to access and is also geoblocked. He can log in but cannot access because it is geoblocked and when he's using VPN, he can access but the site logs him off automatically and does not allow him to log back

I've never used Lastpass, but I've used Keepass for closer to 10 years or so. My strategy is quite simple: I have the Keepass-database on my phone, tablet, laptop, desktop and my two servers and my Nextcloud manages multiple revisions of it, so I can always recover the database from somewhere, if e.g. I had some malware encrypt some of my files. As for the password to my database: I obviously chose one I can remember and which I am unlikely to forget, but I also have it stored in another database and the password to that database stored in a couple of locations -- should I e.g. develop dementia or something, the password could be retrieved and the database accessed, it'd just require some extra steps.

I'm not even sure what the politically correct term is anymore, I don't think anybody really knows.

You can't say "disabled person", can't say "differently abled" now apparently, what is anyone supposed to say?

I've heard "person who has a disability" is the newly approved version, but that's absurd. It's not really grammatically intuitive and goes against all of the other ways we apply descriptors to humans. We don't say "male who possesses Asian DNA", we say "Asian male" and nobody seems to care. Why is this different?

In three months? How long are you staying for?
There are a few things you'll probably want to invest in:
A good waterproof coat An umbrella Water resistant footwear Compass pass? It's used for travel on the bus and skytrain Gloves, if you're not used to colder weather Summer's a little different:
Fan for your room Hiking shoes Tee shirts, shorts, etc The people in Vancouver are generally rather cold. They're polite, but won't go out of their way to talk to you and if you approach them might seem off-put.
Of course, this is a generalization and there always exceptions, though I usually find that those that are more talkative aren't Vancouver natives.

You might want to learn the transit system, depending on where you're living and on whether or not you have a car. This depends on where you're living though.
Generally Google Maps does an excellent job of sending you around.

As for what should you do and where should you go first...you'd have to give us more info!
What you like to do, what you don't, where exactly you'll be staying. Do you mean Abbotsford "close to Vancouver" or somewhere in the tri cities?

If you have any specific questions you can post them here or if you want you can always PM me!
