    Sweet merciful Jesus,

If people want to spend $1500 on a computer that's only worth $500, that's fine. Just give me all the money and I'll buy and build it myself, taking the extra as payment.

Seriously. I read every post in this thread so far, and omg, the ... ugh. I think I want to climb a mountain, find the end of a rainbow, and choke the innocence out of leprechaun to get rid of my sheer anger and stress at the thought of so many dumb people doing so many dumb things, all the time.

On a more serious note, I am the tech support for my entire family. They trust me so much, they just say "fix it", and I fix it. Then I explain what the problem is and what not to do so that it doesn't happen again.

It just sucks when I can't fix it and either they have to spend money or gobs of time to fix it (by calling their ISP or something equivalent).

One thing I get bothered by is people asking me to suggest a computer for them, then once all the preliminary work is done and the idea is done/parts are picked, they get cold-feet and I wasted an hour of my time helping them.

Bah. Humanity. It's a miracle we aren't extinct.

This is an incredibly disingenuous summary.
She used many quotes, which is a way to convey exactly what was said to her, because that's what quotes are usually for.
You've conveniently ignored so much of the contents of that twitter thread that I can only assume it was intentional, because it would be pretty hard to accidentally do that in the convenient way you have.

    Long time; no post.

I've been enjoying watching Spy X Family and will be watching Cyberpunk: Edgerunners when it comes out.

I have to say, I was very disappointed in The Boys: Diabolical. It had a gem here and there, but was mostly a waste of time for me.

My nephew is watching the Ocean Cut of Naruto with his friends. It seems like a major upgrade.

Anyway, I'll probably be around more often going forward.

I seriously doubt they're putting an IR35201 on their ITX board. Six Vcore must then be three true phases, and they're most likely going to repeat the doubled components since that's the VRM they already have going on B350.

SO-DIMMs for DDR4 are double the price compared to regular DIMMs.
    Yeah, that's what I'm wondering.

Where are they getting 5 USB 3.0 Type A ports? And 5 USB 2.0 ports? Are they counting them twice? Or the USB 3.0 & 2.0 Headers? That's dumb. They never do that with other boards.

And the 2nd GbE port couldn't be anywhere else.

Maybe those pictures are pre-final production?

Vitalius reacted to That_Random_Guy in Asrock really is the best mobo company.
So yea, I guess it would be hearsay and opinions if i didn't explain why so here's why
ive had probably 4 asrock mobos 2 of which i sold and 2 i still have, and ive had absolutely the best experiences with them 2 of which being x99 mobos which for some reason hardly any company can get right in terms of stability. not only did asrock succeed in that, they succeeded in begin one of the cheapest and offering the best feature set then damn near every other mobo in its price range. The x99x killer is a damn nice mobo but is now showing its age a bit due to the 3.1 and advances in x99 chips and such and here recently i bought a x99 professional gaming i7 mobo which literately has everything. 2 m2 slots wifi bluetooth and about everything else you could ever need.

so now on to why their the best mobo company out. ive had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with 2 rma with asrock, both of which were my fault... well one is definately mine and the other im pretty sure msi is at fault but i cant verify, but anyway.
My first rma was when i was putting water in my loop and spilled it on the motherboard. killed my x99x killer instantly. thought it was dry but it wasnt. anyway i sent it in through rma and got it warrantied and shipped back in a week total. literately arrived at asrock on the 17th and shiped back out on the 18th. and arrived 3 days later. one of the best experiences ive ever had in terms of rma.

RMA number 2 was just a few weeks ago, you may or may not remember a pc fire i had. Forum post below. but anyway long story short i think the gpu shorted and literately caused a fire in my pc. (pics in the forum thread below) anywya it did physical damage to the mobo and no company that ive seen warranties phisically damaged parts. welp not asrock. sent it in and in less than a week i now have another x99 pro gaming i7 headed my way.

thats 2 rmas that ive had a great experience with and multiple products that have performed well above their price ranges. i will say their customer support is kinda shit because it took like 5 days to get a reply to a message i sent but thats a small price to pay. id rather have a damn good rma service over a good cs that usually does nothing anyway.

2 mobos both damaged technically outside of warranty, both replaced in under a week. How can you not complain.

also dealing with a msi rma which im now considering not going being how fuckin sketch their rma is going right now actually... supported them for years and its been 2 weeks on a rma and no updates and in fact their rma site actually reverted back from gpu arrived to prior to arrival. contacted cs and got a half ass response that didnt answer my question.

On average, each manufacturer cheaps out in a specific area more often than not. What they cheap out on is hard to determine, so it's mostly hearsay, but....

ASRock tends to cheap out on marketing and their website (generally things that involve communication with the customer). As opposed to the actual boards themselves.

MSI tends to cheap out on power delivery. The worst possible thing to cheap out on.

YMMV, but ASRock is more reliable in my experience and what I've heard from friends' experiences.

There's more than one type of jealousy, I found an explanation of it that does a fairly good job differentiating the two:
    Source: https://bible.org/seriespage/21-jealous-god
    Source: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Gal++5&version=NIV
In Galations, Paul is referring to sinful jealousy, not righteous jealousy.
We are God's creation, it isn't wrong for him to be righteously jealous.

    Definition of Jealousy:
    Source: http://www.dictionary.com/browse/jealousy
The first definition is what would be considered as sinful jealousy, whereas the third definition is what would be considered as righteous jealousy.

But the Jewish famously only refer to Yahweh as "God" for his very reason. That just means that you wouldn't write down the name Yahweh, God is already G-d for Yahweh.

In Galatians, Paul condemns jealousy in the same breath as idolatry (Galatians 5:19–20).

uh, no clue what the other two people are talking about.

You don't need a PCI card for RAID.

I recommend these OSes in this order:
    Amahi
    FreeNAS
    Debian

Do not use RAID 5. I would explain but it's a very long explanation of why. Either use RAID 6, RAID 1 or 10, or no RAID at all.

A server is just a PC that shares services for other computers on a network.

You'll need to create a share on the network for the drives and files you wish to share. If you use Windows, which you probably do, you'll need to use CIFS sharing.

If it gives an array you should give the values of the array to the csv with a foreach statement.
I never worked with the fputcsv function but according to w3schools it should be something like this.

    $file = fopen("contacts.csv","w"); foreach ($data_array as $line) { fputcsv($file, $line); }
