  • Biography
My name is Ranen, Wolfcastle is another name my gamer friends address me by. I have been gaming ever since I was 5 years old, and started PC Gaming at 11. I have been playing FPS Games, specifically CoD for 7 years, and consider myself not MLG Pro but at least above average. I play other types of games but just don't find them as immersive.

I have a Steam and Twitter linked above, and I also have an Origin. But I didn't include that because there's no point on using Origin with it's inferior download speeds and a library of games I can already get on Steam excluding Battlefield and awkwardly Titanfall. So yeah, I didn't link it.

While I don't have an extremely High End PC, it still gets me maximum settings at 900p (Monitor restrictions suck) 60FPS on CS:GO and TF2, the only games I actually play anyways.
  • Occupation
Being a kid, but then a squid. And then a kid again.

Wolfcastle's Achievements

  1. Personally Resolution doesn't matter at all when I'm playing on my next gen consoles, though I prefer it be atleast 720p. To me, framerate is everything on console, I don't care what sacrifices are made, I need my games at atleast 30FPS if I'm playing on next gen hardware. Other than that, I just don't care enough to argue about power or anything else like that.
  2. On a forum based around PC Gaming, your definately asking in the wrong place. But to be nice, I personally think the X1 is an amazing console. It's kept me very busy while not having access to my PC for whatever reason, which happens every now and then. The PS4 may have better specs, but to be honest, what's the point of having better specs when developers hardly take advantage of it? Or if there aren't any exclusive games your'e not going to be able to play on X1 and PC? Personally, I think an X1 is a good investment, especially if you are a fan of Halo or you are thinking of getting into the Fallout series, starting at the 4th installment coming this November. A majority of problems I originally had with the X1 when I first bought it in November 2014 were already fixed due to monthly updates, so it's okay to have a little faith in Microsoft. Aside from that, I personally prefer PC but the X1 is a good place to start Next Generation gaming. Hope this makes it easier to determine whether you want to buy it or not.
  3. My mouse is just getting ugly after constant use for CS:GO and TF2. Haven't been playing recently but would be nice to have when I get around to doing so.
