Hey there! I'm trying to help my struggling architect sister migrate from a ancient dell laptop to a somewhat decent desktop. Her PC activities are limited to browsing, watching movies and running software such as autoCAD, revit and sketchup3D. I'm willing to spend no more than $600 for the PC only. Will making an AMD build be a mistake? Does she need a dedicated GPU? Should I experiment with APU? For now she doesn't plan to use more than one 22" 1920*1080 display. What if she has two monitors 12 months down the line? What sort of display power is mandatory keeping that upgradability in mind? I have a feeling the most important decision will be the processor and the mobo which can also make the most difference in terms of savings. I would very much appreciate your comments and build suggestions.

I've used your run-of-the-mill dell and a4tech mouses. I've also used razer and steel-series mouses, during my days of intense multiplayer FPS gaming. Why I want this? I like their branding approach - their name and their logo. The mouse (brand) can clearly talk the talk, but can it walk the walk? If I win, I promise to do an unbiased, practical-usage review.
