  1. yopu cant get one under 300$? or are u american?
  2. I have this issue and no resolution, also. and I am running display fusion.
  3. Im stumped. i googled it and got nothing except other people were getting the problem and it isnt a driver problem and this one guy said he changed every component and had the problem still. Maybe a fresh install of windows?
  4. Yeah i was worried my card was defective or i broke something, but thats probably not the case. You can play games at expected framerates, right? or is it not using the gpus.
  5. its not a bottleneck... when my gpu wasnt being detected (checked in cpu-z) it was doing the same thing. then i updated the drivers and it detected and everything is working fine (gtx 1060 like 3 days ago)
  6. Is the gpu being detected? Did you update to the latest drivers? search gtx 1080 drivers and get the latest.
  7. I didnt know you needed to update drivers for it to work. it hasnt finished yet, but thanks for the feedback.
  8. *pushes up glasses* well hur dur, everything is at an imbalance therefore everything has a bottleneck!! edit: grammar that made the point easily misunderstood
  9. So i have my good old gamin pc and i got the gtx 1060 (from a perfectly fine r9 270) and Iv had some difficulties plugging it in (like usual), finally got it in but go to cpu-z and no graphics card detected and everything hella slow. The lights are on, fans are off (due to low temps so irrelevant i think). I have it plugged into power. is the only options: Faulty graphics card Not in pcie slot fully Power slot not in fully (i checked like 100 times but could be) Should i take some pics? ask questions. i need help. edit before reading comments: I meant: Are these the only options ? and halp
  10. So whats up for debate? you make no sense.
  11. going with the newer generation is always better but you seem to insist on that old gen cpu and seem stubborn so Im not going to argue with you.
  12. Yeah that would be a good gpu to top it off. Get anything above a 6600k and youll be good you wont notice a huge jump in performance unless you do but there still will be a jump, it will just be insignificant or little nothing huge.
