  3. Arms 3, Heroes and Generals, Block N Load, Potentially GTA V. It's annoying as most of the games my friends play I can't
  4. My parents don't want me to sell it as they worked so hard to buy it for me for my birthday 3 years ago
  5. The million dollar question. When I was 10 going 11 apple products were my dream.. I've learnt don't worry

  7. Hello, as you might have seen I'm planning on building my own PC http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/474062-to-wait-or-not-to-wait/ http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/474110-should-i-or-shouldnt-i-build-my-own/ http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/474395-to-sell-or-not-to-sell Now I haven't asked my parents yet but I know they will flip at the idea of A. ME building it B. The price tag I currently have a Mac Mini which my parents saved up for so long to buy (3-4 years ago) and now I want to tell them I think it's time I got a new computer. I have £200 I can put towards it, I also know relatives will put £100-180 for me but the hard part is telling my parents. I need ways to explain why it costs so much, why I need it as they think that the Mac is the dream machine that's why it costs so much and I don't know how to tell them other wise EDIT: I told her, she flipped and said I was ungrateful for my mac, why do I need a new PC. Why does it cost £500. Can't I just buy all the parts second hand.
  8. Tbh any card is better than Intel HD Graphics. I can cope with playing games at low settings that what I have to do atm.
  9. And do I really need that better graphics as I ain't a heavy gamer I only play Minecraft and I normally use the PC for more than playing games I just thought because of the price difference Does it matter that you cut down on the motherboard
  10. Will having a smaller case (if this case is smaller than the Corsair one) make it harder to build? I want it to be simple and easy as it's my first build
  11. This topic is about my build-to-be: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor (£140.99 @ Amazon UK) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£48.42 @ CCL Computers) Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£34.98 @ Amazon UK) Storage: Sandisk SSD PLUS 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£34.98 @ Dabs) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£39.13 @ Amazon UK) Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card (£89.89 @ More Computers) Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case (£44.99 @ Amazon UK) Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (£38.49 @ Amazon UK) Total: £471.87 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-10-27 09:12 GMT+0000 I don't want any improvements on that build (unless there is something that is so bad I won't be able to run minesweeper) But at the moment I have a Mac Mini 2012 (yes I know.. Mac UHH) 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 (Dual core) 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB (Dont even start me off about this piece of crap) 500GB SATA Disk How much would you sell this for and should I sell it at all? I could do with the money from selling it to put back into my new build ^ I bought it for £500 (2012) Now you can buy the 2015 one for £400 so I was thinking for selling this for around £200 Any ideas?
  12. I ONLY play minecraft and occasionally garrys mod and I don't intend to start playing Wither 3 on max I would definetly sacrafice GPU for an SSD as I generally use my PC for more than gaming
