  1. Has anyone had issues with a Skylake processor completely locking up when gaming for long periods of time or running benchmarks? My i5-6300HQ just completely locked up and I couldn't even turn off the laptop, I had to wait until it drained. What is causing Skylake processors to lock up more often than older ones?
  2. I would like the ROCCAT Kova RGB Performance Gaming Mouse - White That would be nice
  3. I'd recommend just giving him your controller until you figure out what the issue with it is. It could be an infinite number of things
  4. What if the Nintendo NX comes with AMD Zen processors?
  5. Are you saying the 6700HQ turbos to 3.1GHz vs the 4720HQ turboing to 3.4GHz. I'm unsure which one is more efficient D:  WHAT ARE YOU SAYING
  6. Yeah they cheaped out on the 960M it seems over the 860M
  7. Look at these two articles, I see the same card twice, except the new 750ti has a 60W TDP vs the 960M's 75W TDP https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2635/geforce-gtx-960m.html https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2548/geforce-gtx-750-ti.html
  8. That's good information, I wonder how they managed to do that. The benchmarks are very similar except the 750ti manages to hold a 5-10% lead in all tasks.
  9. It is the difference between a rough draft of a paper and a final draft of a paper.
  10. I'm facepalming , I understand that the i7 is better for processing because it not only has 4 cores but 4 extra threads as well which provide that performance gain. I'm not aiming for that high of processing performance because I want to be able to squeeze as much battery life as possible out of this laptop without compromising too much performance. The battery life while mobile is the most important thing here. The second most important thing is having graphical performance which is why I chose this laptop, which has a 960m. My dell as it sits has an open M.2 slot and an open HDD slot as we type.
  11. It's just missing the battery life I need, the empty hard drive bay for future expandability, and I got the i5 over the i7 because I knew it would use less power, but still operate nicely
  12. I recently had to sell my gaming PC to get a gaming / productivity laptop because I'll be going in the service soon. I need something that can be highly portable and fun if you know what I'm saying.
  13. Well let's take a look at that $899.99 laptop in comparison to the $799 Dell i7559. For coffee. Dell gets up to 10 hours battery life vs Lenovo's up to 5 hours. For gaming. Dell gets 960M with 4GDDR5 vs Lenovo's 2GDDR5 Lenovo gets i7 6700HQ vs Dell's i5 6300HQ Both have a 1080p FHD IPS display Lenovo gets 1x8GB DDR4 2133MHz memory For productivity. Dell gets a 256GB SSD vs Lenovo's 1TB 5400RPM Dell gets up to 10 hours vs Lenovo's up to 5 hours For price. Dell is $799 vs Lenovo $899 Factor coffee, gaming, productivity, and price.
  14. You know in reality when you're surfing the web Lenovo's 5 hour rating is only going to go so far. It's more like 3 and a half in reality. The point of this post is to find a better laptop that has the same if not better battery life than the Dell i7559, yet still being able to game and be in the same price range.
