  1. Hi, I updated my PCs bios for the Meltdown & Specter bugs and now my computer has no audio. The front and rear audio jacks no longer work and Windows doesn't see any audio device in device manager, except my USB headset. So I downloaded my audio driver and still nothing. I then thought about using my monitor's built-in speakers over HDMI, but they also aren't working. I was thinking my onboard audio is dead, but shouldn't audio still play over HDMI or does the speaker in my display use the onboard audio as well?
  2. You can get splitters like this one.... https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812162059&cm_re=4_pin_fan_splitter-_-12-162-059-_-Product *Edit* That is a PWM model so you may not need that one, but it does support non-pwm fans.
  3. Game Pipe is what you need. Moves Steam games from drive to drive, but also from PC to PC over lan. Excellent program. https://github.com/DjScribbles/GamePipe/releases
  4. Just a follow up to my last post, I found the video and he said he will be doing a video on this device and will be putting ten 128gb micro sd cards in it to make his own ssd.
  5. Just a heads up. If I remember correctly, I think Linus mentioned on a Floatplane exclusive video he has one of those at the office and maybe doing a video on it.
  6. Hi, I want to change my subscription for Floatplane from monthly to yearly, but don’t know how. I tried canceling my subscription, but when trying to add a new subscription to my cart, it says I already have it. Do I need to wait for my current subscription to end first?
  7. I don't know much of anything about soundcards, but just a heads up, LTT will be posting a soundcard video review of the BlasterX AE-5 soon on Youtube where he talks about it, soundcards in general, and their alternatives. It was uploaded on Floatplane two days ago.
  8. Game Pipe can do it. Can even move games from one PC to another on the network.
  9. @tp95112 It did not run like this when I bought it 2 years ago and I'm not comfortable with taking a cooler off the gpu. I ran Unigine Heaven for 30 minutes and it peaked at 85C, but I was playing Darksiders 2 yesterday and it peaked at 89C. @OnePoorMofo I cleaned it a couple days ago and I usually clean both my computers every month.
  10. Hi, I have an Alienware X51 connected to my TV with a GTX 670 and it runs very hot when playing games, mid to high 80s. I only play light and indie games on it, my custom rig is my main system for most of my gaming. So I was wondering if underclocking would make it run cooler and is it safe to do so.
  11. Father's Day is coming and I'm looking to get my Dad a drone and the budget is $200-$250. Here are some details I want from the drone... A decent flight time Last dozens of flights Has its own controller(no smart phone needed) Don't care if it has a camera or not Thanks in advance.
  12. Hi, I have been wondering this for awhile. If I enable Nvidia Fast Sync in the Nvidia Controle Panel do I need to also enable vsync in all games as well? I have been doing that but was just wondering if Fast Sync overrides ingame vsync option. Thanks in advance.
  13. I thought it was good and it would of been a big help for me if it was posted before I installed my own Dark Rock 3. Great and beautiful cooler, but very annoying to install, with very poor instructions.
  14. I didn't read all the comments here, but one thing to consider is this was filmed well before Ryzen 5 was released. I watched this build guide on Floatplane over two weeks ago and he was teasing this build guide on Twitter a week or two before that.
  15. I never actually watched this video but check this video by Digital Foundry, it may help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47zvIJ8A4P0&user=DigitalFoundry
