  1. Why not fix it? I mean, get schematics for your laptop from some shady server and start soldering
  2. It still depends on the performance of the HDMI decoder...
  3. It should, VGA is technically capable of 2048x1536 pixels as far as I know
  4. So I'm not the only one. This happens to me too, not so often, but still.
  5. Isn't blood full of stuff that changes its viscosity after a while? I doubt that it would be convenient to use blood.
  6. Delta is usually a great company. I wouldn't have any concern using it.
  7. He got the delid-die-mate from der8auer He's a german overclocker. You can get this thing on caseking.de
  8. I know that there's a GTX 750ti from gigabyte which has the LP format.
  9. I would go with a used computer. You can probably afford a 2nd gen i5 and a better card.
  10. Hi. I got a problem. My GPU isn't holding its clock speed. Even at high-intensity workloads, my GTX 980 keeps a pretty low clock speed while sitting at about 40°C. It also doesn't reach its power target. I can't get the graphics card to "refresh" and get up to its standard clock speed. Please help me
  11. @peej Theoretically, you could do that, but I doubt it would be a pleasant experience since every technology has its limits. You can try, but I don't think you're gonna have any fun doing so.
  12. you could theoretically send composite video down an ethernet cable as long as you got the adapter for it.
  13. I would go with a basic Core i3 or Pentium so you don't have to buy an extra graphics card... Or, if you're an AMD fanboy, go for their APUs, they're quite nice
  14. It has PCIe as well as AGP. I tried both and it didn't work
  15. Before you ask, the RAM modules are all officially compatible
  16. Athlon XP 2800+ KM400-M 1GB DDR-400
  17. @greenwolf24 The cards ran on an Athlon XP with DDR ram, so that shouldn't be the problem.
  18. @greenwolf24 Nah, I tested all of them on my other system and they worked perfectly fine.
  19. @gtx1060=value Yup @greenwolf24 I tried with a Geforce FX 5200, an HD 9250, an S3 Trio64 (the PCI card), an HD 4670 and an HD 9800. All of those with 512MB, 1GB, 2GB and 4GB of RAM.
  20. There's no video. But it produces beep codes whenever I trigger a certain error. So the BIOS and the CPU are fine. The only real problem could be the north bridge since none of the graphics cards work.
  21. I already did that. With both an oscilloscope and a multimeter. Everything gets power and all the voltage regulation seems to work fine, just like the clock signals
