  1. Yes, you can remove the keycaps. It is usually easier to remove spacebars if you remove the adjacent ALT keys and then pull up on the spacebar at the both sides equally. There is a stabiliser bar underneath the spacebar that you will need to slot back in when you put it back on. I'm not sure what you mean by "even the color of some keys comes off". If you mean the paint on the outside of the key is chipping off this is usually because the keycaps on most membrane keyboards are cheap.
  2. I missed this reply. You need to take pixel density into account. The benefits of higher resolutions will make a more noticeable impact at larger display sizes. The pixels on a 1080p screen at 27” should be clearly visible. On smaller screens, higher pixel densities have a lesser impact as your eyes will struggle to notice a change in pixel size. At 23.5” 1080p the pixel density is 93ppi (pixels per inch). Whereas 32” 4K is 137ppi. Even when adding a full 8.5” to the display size the 4K panel will still be sharper than 1080p but difference may not be as noticeable. However, if youre comparing 1080p 24” to 4K at 27” or similar and cannot see a difference: double check that the 4K monitor is actually receiving 4K input or get an eye test.
  3. Exact same position here. Tried to play it on my old rig but it couldn't quite cut it. Once this semester ends I suspect I won't see the light of day for at least a month, and that's not because I live in Scotland hahaha
  4. Read Dead 2 has been sitting in my library for a about a year but I've been a bit too busy to invest myself in it. I need to get stuff done and these shots aren't helping :')
  5. I would maybe consider splitting up your "What bullet points does this PC need to hit?" section into different questions. Put budget into its own question with a singular answer choice out of "Low Budget $0 - $500, Mid Budget $500 - $1500, High Budget $1500 - $2500, No Budget" or similar. You could also separate the the OS choice into their own question as well.
  6. MX Clears are not as common as Blues, Browns or Reds so its a bit trickier to find pre-built boards that offer them, especially on Amazon. Looking at US Amazon, the iKBC CD108 V2 is reminiscent of the Leopold at a smaller price tag. I have never seen one in the flesh but some online posts say they are of comparably lesser quality to the Leopold. It should still be a good quality keyboard and this also brings the price within your budget. This is the only decent looking board on Amazon I could find that offers Clear switches. Best Buy only seems to stock the most mainstream gaming keyboards which are usually have a poor price/quality ratio. Another common recommendation are Keychron. They do not offer Clear switches on their prebuilt 100% board but they do offer a Brown flavour. Brown (tactile) switches are generally supposed to be a quieter version of Blues but they will not feel the same. The tactile "bump" in most mainstream Brown switches is very muted compared to harsher bump felt in Blues.
  7. This is obviously true for people who play competitive games but non-competitive players will reap the benefits of 4K. You don’t need 240Hz/360Hz to enjoy single player games or more relaxed shooters.
  8. Depends on what size of monitor you’re playing on. On 27” panels there should be a very clear difference in sharpness from 1080p to 4K. 4K is only now starting to be a more accessible resolution to play on. Currently the sweet spot is still 1440p 144hz-165hz. The difference between 1080p and 1440p is not as substantial as 4K but is still noticeable, so you should absolutely be able to tell a difference between 1080p and 4K.
  9. Hall effect switches have very little mechanical contact with anything inside their switch housing so their durability should, in theory, be greater than a traditional leaf contact switch. As an added bonus, the contactless actuation system also makes them some of the smoothest switches available on the market.
  10. A word of warning, O-rings will drastically change the feel of your switches. If MX Blues are too loud I'd recommend just not buying them at all. Unfortunately, there are no non-clicky switches that will really replicate the feeling of MX Blues due to the click jacket mechanism used inside the switch. The closest thing you would get from Cherry are probably the MX Clears. They are quite a heavy switch so if you'd prefer something lighter you could always opt for Browns but they barely even have a tactile feeling. I recommend a Leopold FC900 with MX Clears or Browns. They are a little but above your budget but Leopold make some of the best off the shelf boards. MechanicalKeyboards.com has them in a variety of colour patterns as well.
  11. There seems to be a lot of causes for this crash. Of course the first thing to try is updating your graphics card drivers. I did this but it hasn't completely solved the problem, I still get the occasional freeze but I don't get a crash message. If this doesn't work some general troubleshooting might fix the problem. Try changing some of your graphics settings. Change to Fullscreen instead of Windowed Fullscreen or vice versa. On-demand Texture Streaming and high shader quality seems to be the culprit for some players. Double check that you have enough video memory available. It might be beneficial to try running the game in administrator mode. All else fails I would maybe look towards hardware causes. I found a reddit threading where disabling XMP managed to solve the problem. It's much less likely but if you've overclocked your system I would double check that your overclock is stable under load. Others have mentioned that the game works fine on Windows 10 but doesn't work on Windows 11, same goes for the inverse. The game is clearly unstable, hopefully the crashes will be fixed with future updates but these might fix or reduce the problem.
  12. With your current criteria, the K70 probably is your best option for a mass market keyboard. I haven't tried the newer edition of the K70 that you've linked but it should be much better than the older K70s. However, in both threads you have mentioned that the keys are too easy to press. This will be an issue regardless of which key switch you choose on the K70 because they are all light weight, linear switches. Browns are probably the way to go if you're used to a membrane keyboard but the K70 Champion doesn't come in a brown flavour so you're SOL there. The advice in this thread is still really sound. The Corsair board will likely be better than its predecessors but in terms of quality, as much as you seem to dislike them, it is immediately exceeded by the offerings from Keychron. They will cost much more than the Corsair board but if it's something that you will be using everyday, why not splurge for the better option? This is why the barebones editions of the keyboards exist. Order a set of Spanish layout keycaps from AliExpress or another online market of your choice, you can pick which ones you want so the keyboard doesn't look like a "toy". You can also choose exactly which keys switches you want to use on the board as well. You'll have a board that will put 99.9% of mass market offerings to shame.
  13. I have an FC660M with MX Reds and I love it. If I could get an FC660C in ISO I would buy one in a heartbeat but I don't think they make them anymore
  14. Ditto. If I'm on the move and need to type I really don't mind having to type on a laptop keyboard. Hated as they were, I actually find the butterfly keyboards of the 2015-2019 MacBooks to be one of the best typing experiences I've had. Although I think that's only because mine hasn't failed me yet. *touches wood* What Topre board are you considering?
  15. HyperX Alloy Origins 60 with HyperX pudding keycaps
  16. The masking is not disabled, the issue is a CORS error with your file serving. I recommend installing a local webserver like XAMPP. It will run a local apache server on your machine which will behave just like a website which you can access via localhost in your browser. Install it, launch the control panel, start Apache and then place your website files in path_to_xampp_install/xampp/htdocs/
  17. Just get a large social media presence and get your followers to do it for you. Then again I'm pretty sure a goldfish is still smarter than a YouTube hivemind, maybe whispous's suggestion is better
  18. Uh, have you posted a production database password?
  19. I would recommend changing your directory structure. In a raw HTML, CSS and JS site, a typical directory structure would often look like this: /mywebsite /css styles.css /js some_script.js /images kitten.png puppy.jpeg index.html other_page.html This page by Mozilla should give you a bit more clarity and also explain how file paths work: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Learn/Getting_started_with_the_web/Dealing_with_files. Mozzila's web documentation is fantastic for learning web development, I encourage you to use it.
  20. If you like compact more get the compact. If you want arrow keys, 65% keyboards are a thing as well. Check out the Keychron K6, Ducky One 2 SF and the DROP Alt.
  21. You can make it stay using the position CSS attribute: https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_js_navbar_sticky.asp
  22. I believe you can use the Django settings file for this. In settings.py add: HOME_SITE_TITLE = "My Title" HOME_BUTTON_TEXT = "My Button" HOME_BUTTON_URL = "https://example.com" You can then access it in other files like this: from django.conf import settings print(settings.HOME_SITE_TITLE) I can understand setting a global title for the site but I don't understand why you want to store the text/link for a button in a global variable? You can also remove the need to store a global site title if you use a template to create your pages.
  23. It's all personal preference. Almost any mechanical keyboard should allow you to type faster than a membrane one. Unfortunately, I'm not Italian so I'm not too well versed on keyboards which come standard with an Italian layout but I did find this website: https://coffeekeys.eu/. Keychron and KBParadise are both solid options for sub €100.
  24. I don't usually recommend Corsair but their low profile K70 MK.2 line up is said to be quite solid and it is the only major branded keyboard I could find with a German layout. Quick search of some reviews brings up a few problems however: Corsairs stock ABS keycaps are known to fail by crumbling/shattering (the keycap layout is proprietary so you can't get your own replacements AFAIK but their support team should be able to sort you out) and in some cases iCue can be a bit of a pain to work with in terms of lighting/macroing. I can't find any information on a German layout but Logitech's G815 is a solid option. Only major problems with it is software; GHUB is an absolute nightmare to many people. Not sure if the G915 non-TKL would fit within your budget and I would say that these boards are pretty expensive for what they are.
