Bazadar reacted to Haro in Advise needed
first of all
shadow play isnt special
and nvec is also not special because amd has something that is comparable in quality
also the 2060 super is stronger then the 5700xt???
im sorry what ?!?! no the 5700xt is as good as the 2070 super
unless your comparing it to the 2060

Bazadar reacted to Mateyyy in Advise needed
5700XT is closer to a 2070S in terms of raw performance than it is to a 2060S. What the 2060S has going for it though is software, but if you don't really care about Shadowplay, NVENC and RTX then that's a non-factor.
Either way, I'd wait until September for Nvidia Ampere.

Bazadar reacted to NelizMastr in Proxmox or ESXI
ESXi is mostly picky on network cards. If it supports your onboard controller, you can install it without issue (ESXi setup will halt when no compatible card is found). Generally Realtek chipsets are either poorly supported or not at all (or require a driver pack you need to inject).
Btw, why are you getting your 2012 certification now? The product is in its extended support period already and not installed on new equipment anymore.

Bazadar reacted to NelizMastr in Proxmox or ESXI
It's mostly personal preference, imo. I want to dive into proxmox more, but it's hard to leave ESXi for me as it's what I've been using for god knows how long.

Bazadar reacted to dizmo in Note 4 - Battery
I've had RAVPower stuff, it's great. I've also had Anker.
Realistically, they're sourced from the same supplier. Neither of these companies produces batteries.
Pick the one you like the look of more.

Bazadar reacted to Blebekblebek in buying games you don't own
Sometimes I still don't understand why people have this mindset, and then give excuse for being old(school), I'm old.
I've been through these era with pc gaming.
And I don't miss any of it.
You never own a game, even in the old days, consumers only have right to play it, or whatever EULA they've given to read on, consumers never own it. Digital or physical form it doesn't matter.
The principle is the same thing as you buy an OS, or Software.
Moving on to the next ramble, which pretty much non-sense, you reading too much conspiracy theory, I'm not even sure you know what your talking about.
Backup steam library is easy as just copy and paste, it doesn't even require any 3rd party software, reinstall steam, and relocate to backup folder/drive.
News flash you can run steam offline, and yes no internet required as long you already installed the game first.
- Multiple buying?
This is the most ridiculous and painfully hard to believe, You never bought game on steam did you, at this point it's also hard to believe if you ever use steam.
There are 3 step when you buy a game, the last step steam provide an option, is it the game want to be put in library, or a gift pack.
If that person already had the game then the only option is gift pack which automatically goes into the inventory.
Even let just say everything you said is true, the refund system is always available with no question asked as long it's 14 days with 2h playtime. I just did it.
and pretty much everything basically works the same even for Origins, Uplay, and GoG
If your thread is about Digital vs Physical copies then stick to it. don't bring up anything you knew nothing about.
And btw, you also still can buy some physical copies pc games from amazon (Stock varies)

Okay, then count me out.
You need to get a schedule WITH the games you'll be playing for starters. Second, you need a budget for gaming equipment, backdrops, giveaways, repairs, memory, etc. Having a budget is the ONE thing most youtubers and streamers that begin don't have. You'll learn about it. Especially if you plan to make a professional business out of streaming. Thirdly, find something that's unique about you. You shave and brush your teeth with the opposite hand? That's unique, play off of that. But PLEASE focus on a schedule and being consistent. And then ask for help. Once you do that, you are eligible for the "not sucking" part of livestreaming. My friend has been constantly streaming for almost 2 years now, and he has no subs. Why? Because he doesn't have a schedule, he plays whatever he feels like, and his set up is like all Razer gear. Oh and his backdrop is an old bedsheet. Appearance of set up is 40% of the channel.

Bazadar reacted to ShadowCaptain in Microsoft closes Skype Office in London and Lays off 300 more employees in Redmond
Yeah I mean it does work, we use it for like multi user video sessions, like when we play GTA Online or Battlefield, we have skype on our second screens so we can hang out - do this every night, and for gaming with the gf etc
Its not even that far off being a good program, if they could make the quality better, the codec lighter, and have E2EE it would be fine - and batter text chat and some more customisation
its just only passable in functionality and design

Bazadar reacted to ShadowCaptain in Dissapointed with GTX 970 in Skyrim
There is no reason skyrim would run at 20fps on a 970 no matter what people are saying about VRAM,
