Nonco reacted to Godlygamer23 in Required disk partition is missing
Pick the maximum size allowed(whatever the default size is that appears). Windows will automatically adjust for the System Reserved partition.

Yes, delete them if you're doing a fresh install of Windows. I'm not sure why it's screwing up at the moment, but delete the partitions and re-create the main partition, and try again.

Nonco reacted to dalekphalm in What does it mean to seed?
In the specific context you're talking about, "Seed" means "distribute", so just replace the words and read the sentences over, and you should see how it works.
Another meaning of "seed" is "uploader", which specifically refers to P2P (Peer to Peer) protocols, like Bit Torrent.
Bit Torrent has 2 kinds of users in the system, Seeds, and Peers. A Seed has the complete file (Or "Torrent", which may actually contain multiple files), and is actively uploading said file to the rest of the P2P network.
A Peer is someone who is actively downloading the torrent - someone who either has none of the file(s), or has only parts of the data (Eg: You're still downloading).
The meaning, even between the vastly different scenarios, is still pretty clear though: Seed means to "provide" something.

Nonco reacted to Shiv78 in Pixel making me consider a Windows Phone?
I think that investing in Windows Phones is a lost cause, as even MS is about to shut down the Lumia program...
Get a 6P, 1+3, S7 or something instead.

The PSU the OP has is either an EVGA W1 which is shit or an EVGA B1 which is mediocre.

Nonco got a reaction from MilkJugg24 in Running dual monitors from different sources
The display is currently running off the Quadro like ive said since the start.
I managed to make both ports fit into the quadro now so I guess problem is solved. However I had to grind down a part of a DVI adapter lmao

Yes. It was showcase at BUILD 2015 event when they revealed the feature.
Someone has to pay the photographers. So you'll get app suggestions, and Windows feature suggestion, like Cortana (which uses Bing, and that brings revenue for Microsoft) every now and then.
Hence why it is called: spotlight

Nonco got a reaction from MikeC in First Build List....What do you think?
Seems like a solid build for editing.
Might wanna look into similar priced GPU's. Nvidia have a few nice features, but some AMD cards hardware can be better for the price. Not sure that editing would utilize CUDA so maybe AMD might be a cheaper option. Other than that seems like a solid build. Great CPU for editing

Nonco reacted to EarthboundHero in R9 390 overlocking
Most warranties say you can't OC, but they have no way of knowing. Also, normally you can only add a small amount of voltage which is limited by the card, unless you unlock it. The small amount they let you add won't hurt it too much. 390's can get up to 95C safely, so there's not much worry there. Basically OC to your hearts content.
Here's a great guide,
