terminology is pretty important in that matter. a gpu is a graphics processing unit, wich isn't necessarily a dedicated graphics CARD. integrated gpus are still gpus.

Yes I am aware. Even though that's in your language in area, when referring the the $ as USD (I am aware other countries use the same symbol for their currencies) you're supposed to put it before the amount. If you were referring to another currency that uses the dollar sign in different notation, then that's okay. But it's generally decided that $20 and 20$ are two completely different currencies (and I believe there's even one that puts it in the middle). That's why I'm so 'anal' about this.

Even GDDR doesn't matter too much. You could have a super old / terrible by today's standards card with 8GB of GDDR5 and it'd still be bad.

Went to a friends house to help them with their brand new rig as they couldn't run JC3. Well he was saying it was his "Stupid OS's fault" (I got him cracked Win7 Ultimate) and that he "Preferred his simple console days". It turns out all I needed to do was download SP1 as he hadn't done anything to update his cracked OS.
 
Then, when I'm correcting a USB issue they had in the back, I accidentally jolt out their unscrewed DVI cable and he freaks out at the monitor going black saying "I broke it". He seemed pretty shocked when I just plugged it back in.

Drive refers to the physical definition of what it is. Is it a drive? Yes (as opposed to a motherboard or something). What kind? Solid state. So its a drive with solid state type storage.

Where's he getting the H from? I know there's SSHDs (hybrids) but SSD /= hard or physical storage in any way.

That was weird. Anyways, meant to say I've been struggling with getting OBS set up for the last hour since I couldn't get it to record from my mic. Turned out I had set up the encoding wrong from the beginning. A simple drop down list with 2 options and I picked the wrong one.

Unless you enter a magical world of OSs with practically no background services or anything running in the background and just sit and watch a black screen all day. Then you could probably run off the CPU cache just fine.

Now do it with a 5960X.

hey it's not that bad , I picked an Athlon ii x4 860k, it's peforming surprisingly well for it's low price tag.But I feel you, the per core performance of these things is pretty bad.
My next build will get an Intel again.

Especially in a Tech forum, accuracy is everything; people should not have to 'guess' what is meant.
 
As stated somewhere 'above' $20 is different to 20$ , ok in this case it doesn't much matter but if you do it all the time then it is second nature when it does make a difference, and mistakes/misunderstandings are avoided.

But it does...just like your windows bill goes up the more you're on the main desktop screen (not even joking someone said this).

Also, this is another story I read somewhere (I'm full of these lol) some guy (around the 13-15 age range) walked into a Fry's Electronics since he needed a new ATX mid-tower to fit a 240mm radiator. His current case said it did, but it lied apparently. He goes up to an employee and asks him what he suggests and he starts showing him these mATX cases. Thinking he misheard he said "No I mean something that can fit an ATX board". The employee's response? "Kid, you don't know what you're talking about with this ATX, Star Wars, whatever nonsence." My jaw literally dropped upon hearing this considering Fry's employees usually know what they're doing.
