  1. Thank you everyone! After giving it another thought, I'll push it extra year with my 16'.
  2. Hello guys I'm interested in upgrading my device from 16 inch to 18 inch but that's going to cost me more than 2k$. So, I was wondering, how much of a difference does it make for gaming / working those extra 2 inches? Currently working on Lenovo Thinkpad P16 Gen 2, thinking about upgrading to ASUS ROG Strix SCAR. Both are extreme beasts, I know, but that's what I'm working with. So, has anybody made this kind of a change? Was it worth it? made a big change or not so much? Thanks.
  3. Yes, I've read that, really shameful but I need the space not the speed so I'm fine with it.
  4. Hello. I have a workstation laptop and I'm looking for more ram for it. The model is Lenovo Thinkpad P16 Gen 2. It currently has 128gb of ram but from Lenovo's site I've found that it supports up to 192gb, see the attached PDF: https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/Sys/PDF/ThinkPad/ThinkPad_P16_Gen_2/ThinkPad_P16_Gen_2_Spec.pdf Memory Max Memory Up to 192GB (4x 48GB DDR5 SO-DIMM) I'm looking for a part number for 48GB DDR5 ram sticks that support my device. I need to find a part number or some company that sells these ram sticks. Could someone help me with it, please? Contacted my supplier and they have no idea. Thank you...
  5. That's a big issue for me as I need it for my degree... A lot of writing and sketching Most of the models that were suggested were Lenovo P1 G5 , Microsoft Surface, Dell XPS They all do not have full keyboard / pen integrated to them It did offer me some nice options, but could not find what I'm looking for
  6. Hello everyone So, basically, I'm looking for a laptop that should be the best in every aspect (at least for me). I've asked Chat GPT, friends, retailers and Google, but no one found the laptop that I'm looking for. So, maybe here, in LTT forums some one could be the resolver for my issue? Let's say that money isn't the issue. What I need from the device: 1. Display - 4k OLED, Touch, perfebly 120HZ but I'll be find with 60hz. Size does not matter for me. Small, big, medium... 2. Keyboard - Full keyboard with a numpad. 3. CPU & Ram - Don't really care, anything from ryzen 5 / Core i7 would be fine for me. Don't care of it's U/P/H version of a cpu. 4. Have pen integrated to the device 5. Optional - If possible, ethernet port? Currently the only device that fits what I'm looking for is the X1 Yoga Gen 8, but it's without the full keyboard! What else could you recommend for me? Thank you!
  7. My first "real gaming rig" was about 10 years ago. it had: i7 930 8gb ram gtx 240 lga 1366 x58a ud3r Since then i've upgraded it serval times, but the latest upgrade was 2 years ago, and about 6 monthes ago I've given it a way. The latest upgrades were: 8gb > 24gb ram gtx 240 > gtx970mini case (random) to 570x by corsair. If anyone wants me to upload photos let me know ?
  8. Ok Thank you so much for your help man, you were very helpful!
  9. Oh wow CE!! I l loved this one combined with GGK! Thanks, I will try that! Btw, Would Firebug help here? or I must 'hack' it?
  10. Foreign site, so I'm not sure it's too relevant Any way, if it's not well developed, what should I look for?
  11. Hi guys So there's this site dating site which let's you send messges to women, but only if you answer some random questions really fast. The problem's that they're too fast and pretty long so it's not so easy to pass it... SO, i wanted to know how can I by pass timer, so I'll have more time to read / answer (or even cheat a little bit, I won't lie! ;P) Or even cheat some how so the answer would be always true? Is there some way to it? If I can't do it in firefox, can I do it in any other browser? Thanks!
  12. Could be that Could be that. Thanks man!
  13. "The physical drives comprising array <2ARRAY> have changed resulting in insufficient space for the existing logical drives. " I can't understand what does it mean... " insufficient space for the existing logical drives" - what does it mean?
  14. Yep, it does suck! I'm right now living in Africa, so even if there's ethernet, it's extremely slow! and I would not pay 200$ a month for 30mb of speed! haha I'll try tunnelbear tommrow, And about Hotspotshield, I'm pretty sure my anti virus blocked it once a year a go for adwear, but I'll try it again... "Desperate times call for desperate measures" Thank you for suggesting Hotspotshield as well!
  15. Nope. They're doing it so everyone who are using they're service would have a "faster" surfing. They've said they're blocked it, so.... I'm trying to bypass it!
  16. Hi guys So I've moved to other ISP since it's much cheaper (by about 50$!!! a month, I'm not from America) And I've came to a problem... I can't upload videos to YouTube, probably port blocked. I can upload videos to Facebook, so it's just a problem with YouTube. Is there any other ways that I can upload to YouTube? I can use my phone's internet (hot spot) but 1GB videos would eat up my whole plane pretty fast. - -I know that there was an option as uploading videos via email, but it's seems that I can't find it. - -I've tried YouTube's help - using 'hidden' uploading way, but that didn't help either. - -I've tried using other web browsers, didn't help. - -It's not my firewall either. Maybe there's some other 3rd party uploader or something? Thank you!!!
  17. Hey man, I just wanted to let you know I've manged to install the Freenas! All I had to do is: 1. Disable the raid controller from the bios 2. Add and internal hdd (From the sata of the mother board, diffrent than the rest of the hotswaps 3. Install the FreeNas on the Internal sata 4. enable the the raid controller and configure it 5. Done! Thank you so much for trying to help me man!
  18. Sure. This is Dell server, PowerEdge 2950. Not sure about the CPU model, but that's xeon. Got 4GB of ram, Perci 5/i controller I don't know how to disable the raidcontroller, I just know how to disable the whole raid.
  19. So nice to know that, Thank you for your explianition. I've tried to do what you told me, boot from the cd and installing without any raid on, And now it's not recognize any hdds. I went thru the FreeNas forums, and some people suggested that there are problems with dell servers, so i might try Installing Nas4Free. as you can see here: https://forums.freenas.org/index.php?threads/installed-with-dvd-cant-see-harddrive.23461/ Any other tips that you can give me? maybe other OSs that I should try? Thank you so much, again, for your help.
  20. Ok, thank you sir, I will try that. by the way, why not make the raid thru the raid controller if I may ask?
  21. Hello guys. So we've gotten some 'old' server - Dell Poweredge 2950 with raid conroller Perci 5/i and I'm having problems installing FreeNas on it. At the first time It worked just fine, but I did it wrong... I've installed the Nas on all the HDDS (6 in raid5) and so, I had problem to make a new storage device. I've looked in to it, and what it's looks like, the Freenas uses 'the whole stroage' that It's been installed on. I've re-raided the 6 hdds, and made Raid 5 out of 5 Hdds, and left one empty. Tried to install the FreeNas - It's only seen' the "raided" hdds, and not the empty one. Next, I've pluged some old Hdd to the Internal Sata output of the server, installed it just fine on the old hdd. BUT, When I'm trying to boot in to the one Hdd, where the freenas is installed, it's just "stuck". I really don't know what to do. Any suggestions? I've seen some other alternative, like " Nas4Free / OpenMediaVault / Rockstor / Zfsguru. What should I do? Thank you for your help guys!
