I unplugged the gpu for a second time completely and plugged it back it.. working now... it was never warm, I gamed for like 30min today and it didn't get that hot at all, I just find this really weird and hope it doesn't happen again lol

Not sure if you're looking for opinions or by someone who has that phone. Most of the cases look ugly but these two (in my opinion) look good.

depends on the wallet NH pays out to. If you use their wallet it pays out once you hit .001BTC. If it goes to an external (non-NH) wallet, then you get paid out once a week so long as you are over .01BTC. What I don't like about NH is that they charge a whopping 4% pool fee. YEESH!!!
 
If I were you, and I am x 3, I would be mining ZenCash right now. Super low pool fees on zhash.pro and the exchange rate ain't bad at all. Once you start mining on zhash.pro, don't pool hop. they will penalize you.

yeah it will handle most games, but don't expect to use ultra or even high settings on everything.  not a great deal but not a bad one. id say it was a good deal.

Set it to 60Hz when you're on the desktop. It's too difficult for the card to drive the display at 165Hz at that resolution in the lowest power state, at least that's my assumption. Seen this a few times on other systems as well.

You could get an i5 8400 or a Ryzen 1600 perhaps, both would leave you a socket that you can drop a better CPU into down the road if necessary, while giving you a great experience today

I would pay more for a 8400/8600k because you can set the 8400 to run at 6 core turbo always. 8400 is way better than the 6600k. 

I just got an 8400 for $180, much better than 66/7700k.. just as good in gaming as 66/7700k

I'd go 4k 60hz but that's just me...

1440p is nice if you want more screen space, for the money it certainly isn't bad. Best for the long haul to get 1440p, though naturally you're basically locked to nvidia GPUs for as long as you have the display.

1440. GPU's are going to get stronger and any common 1080 resolution will require more CPU performance to keep the GPU fed with instructions. 

It just eliminates screen tearing that can happen if you aren't at your monitor's native refresh rate. Only going to be a lot smoother if you really notice screen tearing.

it has g sync, so from what i understand, say im playing a super intense game, and my 1070 can only get like 60 fps, g sync would keep it smooth?

It's a gorgeous TN panel though. 

The gaming part of a ultra wide is subject to personal taste. Some games could be affected by the ratio. I will be going with ultra wide on my new build, this winter.

it doesn't do much for frames, but if you are hitting your ram limit, than it will affect fps dramatically. sadly ram prices are ridiculous right now.

It's always on top, but if you use OBS to record a game window for instance it does not show up there, since it's on the windows side of things, would only show if you recorded your desktop for instance. Dunno, but I wouldn't pay Microsoft $100 to spy on me.

But ya if that gave you more budget then either get a nicer AM4 board or step up to the R7 1700, you can still overclock on the $70 board with a fan on the VRM, but a nicer board means nicer OCs.

too bad DDR4 prices still suck. 16gbs used to be $100 or less

Microsoft literally gives it away for free, you just end up with a small watermark, you can make a windows 10 Flash Drive using their tool, or just download the ISO and use Rufus to make one, then hit "I don't have a Product Key"  when installing

If you end up with extra budget in that case you'd want a nicer AM4 board for the long haul if you go that route, sadly like DDR4 prices, every board between like $70-150 kinda isn't much better than the cheap ASrock Pro4 with a fan on the VRM, until you hit like this ASUS board at $150

The 6 core is going to beat it in multi-threaded applications
 
for gaming it's probably like 100fps for Ryzen 110-115 fps for the 4770K in AAA games relatively speaking, since CPUs bottleneck refresh rate.

and it does give you the upgrade path for AM4, though at 8 cores you want a fan on that VRM.
