  1. Hi all, I need some help trying to figure out what is wrong with my computer. The problem is that it have been shutting down randomly when playing Diablo 3 it dose not happen any other time or with any other game. Temperatures are fine and Ram survived Memtest stress test for over 10 hours with no errors. I'm running Windows 7 pro 64 bit cpu is a Intel Core i5-4670k not over clocked GPU Egva SSC GTX 970 with the newest Nvidia drivers Help
  2. Speaker, I ran Memtest86 for over 9 hours with no errors noted. As for for checking the temp of my case, cpu and gpu is there a program that will store that information so I can see what they were just prior ti a crash and check it when the computer reboots?
  3. Speaker this is what I got from the event viewer. - System - Provider [ Name] Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power [ Guid] {331C3B3A-2005-44C2-AC5E-77220C37D6B4} EventID 41 Version 2 Level 1 Task 63 Opcode 0 Keywords 0x8000000000000002 - TimeCreated [ SystemTime] 2015-06-27T02:27:27.537210600Z EventRecordID 120303 Correlation - Execution [ ProcessID] 4 [ ThreadID] 8 Channel System Computer Bear-PC - Security [ UserID] S-1-5-18 - EventData BugcheckCode 0 BugcheckParameter1 0x0 BugcheckParameter2 0x0 BugcheckParameter3 0x0 BugcheckParameter4 0x0 SleepInProgress false PowerButtonTimestamp 0
  4. Hi Speaker, To answer your questions here goes. 1. Power supply is a Corsair CX 750 W 2. CPU Intel Core i5-4670K 3. Not over clocking cpu 4. GPU came factory over clocked it's a Evga SSC GTX 970 5. When it crashes I mean it reboots my computer, no BSOD or pop up of any kind 6. I have not tried down clocking my GPU
  5. Hi folks, I have been experiencing random crashes while playing D3. To answer the obvious first question yes it only happens while playing D3. It has happened anywhere in the game from the character select screen to greater rifts. I have tried both reinstalling the game and multiple versions of the Nvidia drivers for the GTX 970 with no improvement. Is there something that I have to change in Windows 7? I'm running Windows 7 pro 64 bit. Any help would be appreciated Thanks.

    Moving air

Captain Chaos, Right now the fan I have mounted to the radiator is sucking in air from the outside as the installation instructions for the cpu cooler directed. So at this time I don't have any case air being exhausted out of the case. All the fans are in taking air from the outside. 2 SP's in the front and the one on the radiator.

LoGiCalDrm, The main reason I'm asking is because my computer would crash when I played Diablo 3 I thought I had ruled out other causes for the crashing besides heat.

    Moving air

Blueballs I have a SP fan pulling in cool air form the outside that is attached to the radiator for the CPU cooler. Plus the two fans in front are also sucking in air into the case. With the new video card I figured I better I better get some fans to exhaust the hot air.

    Moving air

Hello all, I’m looking for some advice on where I should position fans in my case for optimal cooling. This is my current set up Case: Corsair Obsidian 550D Fans currently installed are two intake fans in the front of the case both 120mm SP fans that came with the case. One 120mm SP fan pulling outside air through the radiator of my H50 Corsair cpu cooler mounted at the back of the case. I removed the upper hard drive cage so there is nothing in between the top fan mounted in front and the GPU which is a Evga GTX 970 ACX 2.0+ I was thinking of replace the top front fan with a 120mm high air flow fan and adding two 140mm high air flow fans on top ofthe case to exhaust the hot air. Please advise Thanks
