SayberSky got a reaction from KarateHottie93 in GTX 970 vs R9 390
It's not like the power bill will be 100$ bigger. Not so sure why everyone's making a big deal out of it. If you're futureproofing , the 390 is the obvious choice.
And with the state of PC optimization , those 8GB of VRAM will be very useful very soon.

To be honest , if I could , I'd cough up that money , if only for the kickass case and service.

580 is old. And AMD CPUs are shit. Sell 'em and build a PC yourself.

Looks good, The PSU will be fine even if you overclock the 390.

SayberSky got a reaction from Heartless080 in PC Final Build Help
The i5 and the i7 are basically identical when it comes to gaming , however the i7 kicks i5's arse when it comes to video editing/rendering etc. If you don't want to overclock ( I don't overclock either ) , get the non - K version and an H series motherboard

SayberSky got a reaction from DarkBlade2117 in New build - any thoughts?
I'm currently in the process of upgrading to a new PC , after 4 years of using an HD 7770 and the x4 Phenom II
This is the build that I came up with , it's from my local retailer , are the specs any good and should I change anything? I'll be using it at 1080p only and mostly for gaming and a bit of light programming and video/picture editing.
Thank you in advance!
