  1. People need to buy more manual Lotus Exiges so I can get a used one for cheap in 10 years.

  2. Pretty balanced as is, and I wouldn't change anything for a while. With that being said, my suggestion for a future upgrade would be either CPU or GPU.
  3. Try to boot with only one RAM stick. If that doesn't work, change the channel that the RAM stick is in and try again. Repeat if you have multiple RAM sticks. If it never works with a new stick, but works with different RAM, the new stick of RAM is faulty. Make sure the basic things are also secure, like the display cable and all power cables.
  4. It'll help, but it shouldnt make any dramatic increases in performance. If it's running in single channel it's either because they're installed in adjacent slots or somethings weird in the BIOS.
  5. I'd at least wait for the AMD 3000 (Zen 3?) series before upgrading, but at 1080p you should be good for a few years.
  6. Yeah, as @NunoLava1998 said, you'll probably want either the 32 or 64, but they can get pretty expensive.
  7. If you can get to the battery itself you'll be able to tell if its the problem. Dead LiPos usually 'puff' out and expand slightly. I've got a few drones myself and it always sucks when I loose a battery. You can sometimes revive low voltage batteries by slowly charging them on a balance charger, but it wont always work.
  8. I'd go for the 16gb personally, but you may benefit more from the 32 because of the massive HDD you're using.
  9. I don't see why you couldn't get optane to speed up the HDD. As long as your mb/cpu have enough slots/lanes it should work. I recently did a similar build with 16gb optane and it worked fine, but to be honest I didn't feel there was a huge improvement between optane HDD and HDD only.
  10. My favorite part of my upgraded computer besides that fact that it messed up 150+ GB of Forza games is that it doesnt overheat because it only runs at ~10% usage bc bottle necking for the win

  11. Anything under 70c is pretty good IMO. Anything under 90c is "safe," and anything below 60c is crazy good.
  12. no problem, hope it all works well for you
  13. It should be a good one to start with. Some cheap mobos can be unreliable but ASUS has a good reputation. I use ASRock on most of my build and I'm yet to have a problem. You'll be able to upgrade the CPU in the future and something like a i5 may be useful if you need more CPU cores.
  14. The i3 system is the one I'd go for. It is simply faster than the i5.
  15. The 550W should be enough. The 1070 has a TPD of ~175W and the 9600K is ~95W
  16. It should, but I can't guarantee it will. The product page on Newegg says it does and Cryorig's website says it does, but the H7 was first made before the release of AM4 so earlier models wouldn't have it. However, I know that the H7 was recently out of stock (bc I wanted to buy one) so because they are back in stock they should be newer models that have the AM4 bracket. If your H7 doesn't come with the bracket, you can probably contact customer support and they'll send you one.
  17. I'd say to just get the standard Cryorig H7. It has the same TPD as the Deepcool Neptwin but is cheaper, wont interfere with RAM, and looks nicer IMO.
  18. Remember that cold temperatures can greatly reduce battery life. Also, reflection of the sun off snow can make it very bright.
  19. That's difference in texture settings with a card that has enough VRAM to run it at max. It's different when the card literally can't run it
  20. Check GPU thermals, I remember that they could get wonky when JC3 was first released. Otherwise lower textures settings bc the 970 doesn't have much VRAM
  21. Dude I got a i7-2600. Your pc isn't outdated. The only thing I might change is the GPU setup. Also most CM PSUs are kinda sketchy

Digital Foundry shitposts are the best shitpost…

Nice to see your old user pic back, I had no clue who you were for a while
  23. How much installed RAM do you have? In my experience, JC3 needs about 12GB. Otherwise, switch to different GPU drivers.
