    I'm currently running a R9 390 but the reason I want one is so that I can complete the build I'm building for my girlfriend !!!

    Honestly it is not worth it anymore. It was a very compelling idea a few years back.

    If you are looking for a new psu I would suggest the evga 750w g2 one of the best psu's out there. But I've had this problem on a old bord there was a short circuit on the bord causing an error but it ended up causing damage to the cpu fab which I replaced and it worked fine so just maby try and putting a different fan in your cpu fan header

    Your pc will just look very "empty" in that big of a case but I like your choice! But since your are going to wait for Christmas I would maby just want to see what AMD brings to the table with their new cpu's coming soon

    I'm pretty sure it would because I know that that cooler is really good and would cause it to throttle unless you have a very high overclock... I've seen gpu temps drop dramatically by changing the thermal past myself

    They expect people to buy the reference design because alot of people like the esthetics of the cars or has a case where a blower style fan is important

    Well you can always do the old faithful way of disassembling your gpu and replace the thermal past and check that all the fins and heat pips are clean. Just check I'm sure there are videos ons YouTube on how to do this

    That is true but at the time of purchase this was unfortunately the only card I could get in my price range

    It's true I have set this k. But set to 75 hz since that is my monitors refresh rate but none of my games are hitting that refresh rate (I do like my eye candy)

    I was getting high temps. Read what I said, I used to get hight temps but lately it's muc lower and I wanted to know why

    I don't get why people don't like the card. I do get that the voltages are locked which sucks but the cooler is actually quite good and at the time of purchase there were no other variants of the card available because of where I live
