  1. Hi,

I have a couple questions about bottle necking (CPU and GPU Bottlenecking):

    1. Why do bottlenecks happen for cpu's?

    2.gpu's?

    3. is there away to tell that a cpu/gpu will bottleneck and cpu/gpu wiht out buying ( by looking at the specs)?

    4. Can you fix it in anyway that doesn't require replacing?

5.How to tell that you have one

6.In a gpu bottleneck would your frame rate be the same even if you turn up the settings?

I agree - Putting Linus in a room with priceless, irreplaceable one of a kind hardware, is just a good combination. Anytime he's at PAX or another show, and is just hand-handling a $3000 laptop with one hand, and you can see the look of horror from the Vendor staff in the background, is just good times.

I can't wait till linus accully breaks one of the prototypes he drops

  3. Thats a really open question.

here are some things that might help people help you:

What do you want to use it for?

Do you care about aesthetics?(i.e. leds ,tempered glass windows, etc)

    Does this include peripherals?

    What kind of form factor?

    Does loudness matter?

Do you have any computer parts already?

For 1500$ i would suggest looking at this video:

  4. This setup will run most game at 1080p in medium high to high settings just fine.

Remember the main difference between  cards is the cooler , so unless you want to overclock its not that important , but if you have extra budget and want like the 10-20mhz of speed difference between the cards and a better cooler get a higher end card like in the 270-300$ range

  5. Very thin

here is a quote from there website" This 23-inch Full HD display provides excellent detail with a stunning 1920 x 1080 resolution, making it perfect for HD productivity and multimedia applications. The sleek zero frame design creates a unique visual experience without boundaries which is ideal for building video walls with two or more monitor’s side-by-side. A magnetic base with brushed hairline finish is useful for paper clips, keeping the desktop space clean. "
