  1. I've been thinking about wiping my whole computer and reinstalling the OS, programs, ect., but I figured it would be beneficial to learn about as well as set up a raid array. I am curious as to whether or not it will work, because I have a Samsung 840 EVO 128GB and a Samsung 850 EVO 256GB. Would I be able to configure a 256GB raid 0 array with a 128GB partition on the 850 EVO? Or is that not how raid works? Thanks in advance!
  2. I also have a few WD Blues laying around, but I can't get them to work
  3. I figured that out eventually, but thanks! I still haven't successfully printed yet though, and I think that's because the extruder is jammed. Do you know how I could clean one?
  4. I just assembled my new HICTOP Prusa I3 3D Printer, and although I really want to use it, I do not know how. I haven't gotten very far; I installed the drivers onto my computer, loaded a random .stl file into Cura, and that is about it. How do I send the G-Code of the file to my printer? I currently have it hooked up to my computer via USB-B to USB-A, and Windows 7 does recognize that there is a device plugged in, but it does not seem like it is as easy as "drag and drop."
  5. Thanks for all your help guys! I just one my first auction! <3
  6. I was also wondering about the rules (such as if I could swear). I'm sure it'll come in handy
  7. I'm a newcomer to this wonderful website, and I frequently use it to post my questions in order to receive quick, reasonable answers. To make things easier for the viewer, what are some general rules I should follow when posting questions? Or, what are some things that posters do that irritate you so I should take caution and make sure not to repeat such things? If people are going to be giving me quality advice for free, I would prefer my posts be as least burdensome for them as possible. This may include the format of the post, such as me spacing out "paragraphs" with double-space, how much information to offer up front, or whatever else. Maybe even which BBCode items to use. So, does anyone have some tips for how to post questions effectively? (I suppose you could just rant about your pet peeves)
  8. Oh, one more thing! If I were to win a bid, but not be present at the computer when it ends, will I still be able to pay the seller without them giving up on me? Maybe an hour-or-so later?
  9. Y'all are amazing! Although I'm not replying directly, every answer helped, thanks so much!
  10. Really great answers guys, I appreciate it! This particular listing is meant for buying the same item but with the ability to choose which color I want. "Please leave a message for which color you want!" So what would I do here? Do I message the eBay user through email or through eBay itself? And should this be done prior to or after the bid has closed?
  11. I'm sorry if I'm just another contributor to a massive number of eBay noobs posting topics on various forums, but hopefully these aren't too difficult to answer. Anyway, I went on eBay for the first time yesterday and found some pretty cool deals; one of them is a bidding set to end in about 3 hours. Since eBay is a sketchy website in my opinion, I would just like some extra clarification and expectations before I bid. Here are a few of my questions as a buyer: 1. So let's say I bid x amount--do I have to prove I have the money beforehand or will eBay let me place it without question? 2. Then, assuming I win the bid, what happens? Must I contact the seller through email, tell them my address, and then make the payment through Paypal or something? 3. What if the seller does not send the item/does not respond to my emails? Will eBay easily handle that and give me a refund (to a certain price range)? 4. What if I were to win the bid, but not pay up? Would eBay get on my ass and call the cops? 5. On listings stating the price of shipping, and assuming I live in the region where it qualifies, will I actually be paying that amount (plus my bid)? Or can sellers somehow cheat their way into making me pay more money by somehow saying the shipping now costs say $20 instead of $3, $3 being the price posted in the listing? 6. Also, is there a preferred payment method? Which is the most secure for myself and the seller? -Sorry if I don't know what I'm talking about Thanks for your input!
  12. Thanks for the input guys! I probably should just buy a new subwoofer, although I'll figure something out if not.
  13. Shit, sorry, I have a fairly early bed time But try browsing eBay for another, there are often really great deals (which are unfortunately sometimes ruined by bidders bidding during the last few hours). Ooh, here's what seems like another great deal, although the starting price is higher and likely to increase.
  14. I found it on Ebay for like 35 bucks, but I've never used the website, and the bid ended like an hour ago. Oh my, it's still on, 45 minutes left. It's at $45, want me to send you the link?
