    Most likely yes, but you'll want a GPU as well. Something like a 750ti/260x/270 would probably be a good match.

    Probably not but with the addition of a graphics card you could convert your family PC into a fairly cheap PC that'll play most games comfortably

    Huge. I used to use the e2200 and upgraded it to a q6600. Difference was night and day.

    YES. HUGE performance upgrade! still a good CPU.

    q6600 is still a baller chip on the cheap
