OMG, I am so buying a Probook 6475B now. Going to make an Elitebook 8475P.

I really want to buy an LVDS to eDP adaptor, so I can get a 1080p screen in it. I also kinda wanna get Mac OS Mojave running properly on it, but I obviously cannot if I swap the main board with an AMD one (or not easily, like the Intel powered 8470P)
It's kinda ironic. I bought the Elitebook, because the A10 5750M in my ASUS F550DP was a POS, but now I'm going full circle, mostly because it's funny.

Have you looked into something like this:
That can be hacintoshed.

Yeah, all Intel based HP Probooks/Elitebook are pretty easy to install Mac OS on. High Sierra worked really well on my 8470P, but I decided to update to Mojave, which fucked up the computer going to sleep, as well as wifi card drivers. I honestly couldn't be bothered buying a new wifi card, so haven't fixed it yet.
