I chose the sli 980 because a single 980 wouldn't be able to keep 60 fps + on 1440p , 4790k is because i will be doing some video editing on the rig and i would pay the 100$ premium for it over the i5 The ssd i because i want to play with a PCIe ssd. I will probably game on 1440p G-sync monitor but not sure which one yet.
