  1. So I have 2 reference 980 ti's that I bought on the first month of release but recently I encountered a issue where when I have SLI enabled and I play some of them games, well a flickering red overlay on the game is present. When I disable SLI it works fine but you know I got 2 cards and want to use them both Is there any solutions to this problem? Things I tried: -Replacing SLI bridge -Reverting OC on main monitor
  2. I am trying to boot a 750 ti with a Gateway DX4860-UB33P but ends up giving me a black screen. The Fans and stuff still spin but only yet still have a black screen so I am wondering what can be done to potentially get this PC to boot with the GPU. When I boot it with only the iGPU (and the GPU is disconnected) it works like a charm. Specs; CPU: I5-2320 RAM: 8GB DDR3 HDD: 1TB 5400RPM GPU: MSI Twin Frozer 750ti (can't boot so on the iGPU) PSU: I think 300-350watt generic PSU (still has enough power to boot it) My thought it would be the BIOS but I can't find anyway to update it.
  3. I am VR ready for to weab habbits o-o Specs: CPU: I7-5820k (3.3GHz) CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i Motherboard: Gigabyte X99-UD4 RAM: Crucial Balistix Sport DDR4 2400Mhz 16GB (4x4 dual channel) Storage: SSD (Boot): Sandisk Extreme 120GB HDD1: 3TB 7200RPM HDD2: 2TB 7200RPM External HDD1: 500GB External HDD2: 300GB GPU: 2 980 Ti's in SLI Case: NZXT Phantom 530 PSU: Corsair HX1000i OS: Windows 10 Monitor: Left: Samsung 28" 4K 60hz 1ms Middle (main) LG 23" IPS 60hz (OC'd 74Hz) 5ms Right: Dell 24" TN 60hz (OC'd 67Hz) 6ms
  4. I was bent on buying on the Acer Predator X34 100Hz GSync Panel but a couple of my friends as well say I should go get the Asus ROG Swift PG348Q. I am not a monitor expert and they both seem that same other than how curved they are. Also I was trying to find the PG348Q but I found no where to buy them so the next question is it even out yet?
  5. Heheheh good luck in the mean time then.
  6. NICE! I hope it suits you well!
  7. Are you including peripherals and monitor(s)?
  8. It is all about luck man, I had problems when OC'd when SLI was enabled it messed up the look at it so I had to disconnect and reconnect. Another problem I encountered was when I had my refresh rate on my main panel at 74Hz and I got my dell monitor to 67Hz I caused my drivers to constantly crash and I had to mess around plugging in 2 monitors and had the third one in the 2nd GPU and reset it. Now everything is back to normal but that was a waste of 2 hours others may have better experiences with different or same hardware. As a note I am not the best with monitors since I don't have much experience with higher refresh rate monitors but I since I did manage to get my old ips panel to 74hz I did notice how nice it was to use but still 60hz is fine if your tight. I would suggest maybe something like this http://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronics-25UM57-25-Inch-LED-lit/dp/B00V8FAWC2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1457580244&sr=8-1&keywords=2560x1080 a neat 25" 2560x1080 monitor that shows at $199.99 (I am unsure about tax and shipping) but I did end up buying one for my fathers rig quite a few months ago.
  9. I think my biggest screw up was buying a Alienware m14xR2 for $1200 at years end, next week the new models came out. Then my laptop starting crapping itself 3 weeks into it and caught on fire 4 times so far in the past 4 years. Still somehow works and damage looks minimal (other than when I open the back piece and look at the back of it then its pretty messed up). My 2nd biggest screw up was in 2014 when I decided to get a GT 740 as my GPU instead of a GTX 770 or 780(ti) type with a $2500 budget. My 3rd biggest screw up is letting a company try to "fix" my main PC I built in july of 2015 (my current PC) and then made everything much worse.
  10. I am not a monitor pro but overclocking a monitor is just pure luck from my experience. I managed to get my old 1080p IPS panel (a LG IPS235) to 74hz no problem but my still old but not as Dell S2440L only up to 67hz. So whatever monitor you get hope it works good!
  11. Thanks! I am in no hurry so this would be great, do you know of the release date for it?
  12. alright thanks for the info.
  13. Thanks! I will sure go for it
  14. My 4K panel used to have a problem of the sort. I usually just kept unplugging and plugging the monitor back in until it was not blurry anymore
