ive never used a hybrid but it sounded good to me for fast os and plenty of room for other stuff in the same drive. if im lucky ill find another crucial ssd from my side job by then but what is the deal with hybrids?

I wanna build my girlfriend a gaming PC with her for her B-Day. She plays Xbox but she wants to build a PC and get into PC gaming. I need help with the parts list. with Ryzen out things have kinda changed for entry level stuff and idk if i should stay with Intel or go to AMD. I think i will have around $500 to work with so if any one can help me with a build it would be much appreciated.
