  1. We will post updates if this does not fix the issue tomorrow morning. Maybe also some screenshots of the build as well
  2. Good Question.... According to Czex it will solve the issue. Any plan B Czex?
  3. That is just insane mate! Damn...Glad to see that it is not just ASUS. As Joske said, expect something new to work out the box.
  4. We can do the cable management at the back, get the cooler master cpu backplate installed (forgot that lol) + Some REDBULL and we good to go.
  5. Cool, I have the BIOS on my flash, renamed and ready as well. I'll be there in the AM. Sent you an inbox btw.
  6. WOW seriously? You have the same issue on the ROG Rampage V Extreme? What is your system specs? Were you able to install windows?
  7. That is just f*cking ridiculous... buying their top of the range ROG board that supports only LGA 2011-3 = i7s & then you need to do a BIOS update before you can use their product. I'd still like someone else to give their opinion. Their must be tons of people with this board, wonder if they have the same issues?
  8. May I ask why you at first mentioned that I try all the other options to fix this issue if you knew a BIOS update is needed for it to run? I would love to hear what JJ has to say about this.... If this is indeed an issue as you say, he should let us know wtf is up.
  9. I simply cannot rap my head around this that before you can run an LGA 2011 V3 CPU on this board you need to do a BIOS update before you can even run the system. All LGA 2011-3 CPUs are i7s. So how can they bring out a board that cannot run them from default in the first place?
  10. I see BIOS 0901 RAMPAGE V EXTREME BIOS 0901 Fix the issue that the card installed on PCIE_X4_1 may be not detected if ASM106SE controller is disabled in BIOS. I don't see it mentioning anything for fixing the i7 issue such as the one below for the 5th-Gen processors. RAMPAGE V EXTREME BIOS 1302 1.Support 5th-Generation Intel Core Processors 2.Support ASUS USB 3.1 PCIE add-on card 3.Support NVMe Should I go with the 0901?
  11. Thanks for all this info mate! Are you sure this will work for the Rampage V(5)?
  12. So you had exactly the same problem? Also before you could even install windows? Secondly, when can one run the RAM at 2400 again? If you do will the error occur again? Is there a BIOS update you can get for it?
  13. On the motherboard it shows Q-code bd. I still don't get how brand new hardware on a first power up need settings to be changed to be able to even install windows.
