I like(and use) them all nvidia & amd gpu's, also intel & amd cpu's. All have pro's & con's and choice is always good for the consumer. Yes intel has better architecture, power efficiency, and performance than amd "duh-hoy". 22nm (customized LGA socket) vs 32nm (am3+standardized socket) = smaller always wins. Intel is like the European sports car & amd is that big inefficient American muscle car.That's why you have to oc amd cpu's so much to get on-par performance. But cost is a lot less & more core's (single vs mutli threading).
On gpu's they seem to both have feature's & it depends on what you want & like (gravy on the meat).  I was all excited about about shadowplay & Game DVR(raptr). But I found that dxtory & MSI ab/rivertuner's(predator) to have more options & be more efficienct than both amd & nvidia programs. They both have decent drivers, haven't had a bad amd driver issue in 3 years (they got a lot better when amd bought ATI=driver dark ages) compared to nvidia 10 years since a bad driver. Team green always come's out ahead a little in performance & team red always wins the price war. Game company's/developers have more impact on which gpu's your game runs better on & their usually bought by either team green or red.
 
At the end of the day you just try to find a balance of perfomance/power/efficiency/price
& live with your choice . Or you could just go online act like one of those god aweful console kids :angry:  & attack everyone else for being WRONG!!!! lol

2016 AMD will probably come with something new for the FX. probably AM4 with DDR4 support.
Atleast they have to, if they wanne stay in the market.
i´m going to wait till 2016, if AMD brings nothing evolutionary to the table.
Then im going back to intel.

gtx 670 is still a great gpu, just needs some TLC

I might be wrong, but the equivalent to the 750ti is the r7 260, or maybe 265.
 
If you're building a PC for gaming you should consider saving up a little more and getting a 270, 270x, 760 or 280 though.

Either save your money and get a 8320 or spend a couple extra dollars and get a 4690K

You need to lower your voltage. If you have everything on auto then your voltage under load is going to be around 1.4 for some reason stock amds set the voltage high. I have my 8320 overclocked to 4.2ghz @1.33V. On a hyper 212 and core doesn't go above 35c, socket doesn't go above 55 playing bf4
Also there are two CPU Temps you need to pay attention to. They are CPU Socket and CPU core. SPeccy only lists one of those and I'm not sure which one. So figure out if that is your core temp or socket temp. I can tell you when I get home.
The max temp you want your core temp to be is 62C. The max temp you want your socket temp to be is 72c. Anything below those are fine. So if you want better temps try lowering your voltage if that doesn't do it then you need a better cooler.

Downsampling AKA increasing the resolution is the best option.... next would be Supersampling, Multisampling, and finally FXAA blegh. blur of crap.

I have a Radeon HD 7870 with an i5 3570K and it runs everything on Ultra at a stable 60-80 FPS. A 280X would give you similar/higher performance, but if you want to spend some extra money, get a 290 or even a 290X.

The gtx 750ti isn't bad, but it's meant to be a entry level card that doesn't require extra power(draws off the mobo pcie slot) .  It also doesn't get 60 fps on high settings in demanding games at 1080p.
