  1. What do you mean by protruding metal? If it were causing a short, would i be able to fix it by soldering it?
  2. Sadly it doesen't It doesen't send any pciture out Arh damn, i was hoping it could fix it
  3. Hi LTT! Haven't really been active here for a while, but i've come across something a little interesting. One of my fans broke on my GPU, so i was lucky enough to buy a broken 980ti for 60 bucks. My card works perfectly fine now, but i was wondering if i could actually repair the broken one. If you take a look at the pictures, you can see that its the board that has been hit by a screwdriver. And i was wondering if i could solder it with tin, to make a connection Has anyone ever tried something like this before?
  4. You forgot that he included a screen in the price " Asus PA238QR 23" 1920x1080 " + is he acceptable to change the case?
  5. I've considered NZXT HUE+, but since i'm going with a Corsair case, i thought i might as well go with Corsairs LED strips og hub
  6. Then it's easy - when you're at the installation and you're about to format the harddrives, simply just don't format the one who has 500GB.
  7. It wont be named Local Disk F or something like that. It's going to be called Disk 1 Partition 0 for an example. I don't know how many SSD's & HDD's you have - but does your HDD's have the same amount of storage?
  8. Windows is actually offering you to download W10 on a USB here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 All you need is a formatted USB (8GB or over). Here's a video guide on how to do it: And yes, you should do it! Just remember, that one HDD you want to keep all the data on, you'll need the know what name/type it is. And you're good to go.
  9. Current build CPU: i5 6600K GPU: Asus 980TI PSU: XFX 850W Pro Motherboard: Asus Z170-A RAM: 2x8 DDR4 2133 MHz Case: Fractal Design Define S CPU Cooling: Hyper 212 EVO Things i want to change PSU: Corsair HX750i Motherboard: ??? Case: Corsair Air 240 CPU Cooling: Corsair Hydro H(XXX) My questions Let's start with the PSU... The reason why i chose fully modular is because i want custom sleeved cables for the future + my XFX fan is making noises. But right now i have XFX 850w (which is overkill, and even 750 is not needed) - but choosing between RM or HX series of corsairs PSU is a nightmare for me. The only 2 things i can see that is different is the efficiency of RM = 90%, HX = 92% (which i don't really care about) and the fans RM = 135mm, HX = 140 (More optimal for me, since i would like to have a system full of Corsair ML PRO's). Am i missing something? As of now i'm going with the HX series because of the 140mm (price difference is 14 USD in Denmark) Let me know if i'm wrong here Going to the Motherboard... I don't know whether to go with mITX or mATX. I don't want to go SLI or have over 16GB of ram, and with the quality of a mITX and mATX pretty similar to ATX now a days i wanted to build a smaller system. I have the 980TI, which means a mITX is capable of taking my GPU. But my problem with the mITX & mATX is fan connections. The motherboards have usually 2-3 fan connections, which isn't enough for me. Should i buy a Corsair Link Commander Mini? Now over the to Case... I love Corsair Air 240. If i choose mITX i can use fans on the of case and the bottom. Compared to mATX, where i can "only" use the top fans. Last but not least, CPU cooling... I've always been a big fan of air cooling, but over time i've been heading more and more over to water cooling. I'm NOT going to overclock my CPU so i want an AIO from corsair which is quiet. (I want my computer on the right side of my monitors) I just don't know which one to pick. I hope you can help, Thanks
