thanks yeah im the same and this is the first time my granda trusted me to upgrade and repair it as he has been screwed in the past by a local company that are a bunch of crooks

thanks everyone the sata controller driver worked

the sata controller drivers have appeared to do the job installing it now

i would also go for windows 10 but its for my granda and hes used to using vista and xp so i thought it will not be to much of a change for him. the drivers will cause me trouble but its will save me in the long run with not having to give him a full crash course on windows 10 when all he uses is IE which i will make sure he changes to chrome or firefox but yeah im gonna start downloading all the drivers on my pc and get his ready to use

hi im fixing a pc for my grandfather and hes complaining about his coputer being slow so i got him a 120 gb ssd nothing special but now trying a fresh install of windows its not detecting the drive. it asks me for drivers. ive looked online and seen that its possible to update the memory controller drivers but ive been unable to find anything to help me so i turned to the forum. his pc is an acer aspire t650-8b7e. i was looking for some help if someone is willing to give there time to me and help me out. thanks, ryan ps if you need anymore info ask away ill try my best to reply as fast as possible.

but it wont make better the quality i can play games at and at a higher frames per second and im more of a size over quality

well i guess i better start off with my specs, i3 4170 cpu (stock cooler- was going to buy a all in 1 water cooler) h81m plus mobo 8gb of ram gtx 560 ti twin frozar 450 watt corsair psu im not bothered to much about aesthetics, but my case is a antec p180 the reason i am making this post is to ask for help in choosing my next part i was going to buy a cpu cooler, more powerful cpu, gfx card or psu or change the mobo. any response welcome. thanks.
