I installed a bluray player in my pc with the intention (obviously) of playing blurays. It has now occurred to me that the audio on blurays is different. Not just higher quality but it's often 5.1 or higher which is a problem. I only have a pair (A5+) of speakers and headphones for listening. When I play blurays the dialogue and some sounds are barely hearable. I was looking into what I needed to play blurays before I built my system and there was no mention of this issue. Is there something I need to change so I can watch blurays without buying a full set of surround sound speakers? Thanks.

I figured it out. The minijack wasn't plugged in fully but looked like it was.

I bought a set of Audioengine A5+ speakers and I'm having some installation problems (No idea with audio equipment). I've connected the AC Power as well as the speaker wire connecting the two speakers. I've checked that the exposed wire is contacting the connectors. Lastly there is the mini jack and the RCA cable. I've connected the mini jack from the speaker to the green port on my motherboard IO. After this I turned them on and tried them out. I'm getting some sound but I have to max the PC volume and it's still a very low sound. Do I have to connect the RCA cable to my PC as well? Like I said I have no idea. If so which colored ports do I connect them to on my mobo. Thanks in advance.

I'm just looking for the "best" tenkeyless mechanical keyboard. When you reply, make sure to state your reasons why you think it's the best. It helps a lot with decision making. Thanks heaps. P.S preferably blue switches or similar, as I like the clicky.

Hi, I'm in the market for a pretty nice set of desktop speakers. I was looking at the Audioengine 5+ speakers and I just wanted to check in here if there were any better solutions for around the same price. Thanks for any feedback, much appreciated.

I found if you right click whilst in the pipboy you can zoom in or out a little. I personally liked the zoomed out version but mouse clicks seem to work more consistently when zoomed in.

I'm having some trouble with fast travel in Fallout 4 on the PC. Everything works fine but when I'm using the map my clicks to fast travel to locations and moving the map marker don't register. They do eventually but only after clicking 5+ times or spamming mb1. Controls seem to work fine whilst in power armour. Anyone else having problems with the map?

I need a wireless Internet adapter for my pc. I currently have no access to a wired connection and I'm currently using a wireless 4G thingo. What is the best usb adapter without being bad cheap or expensive for the sake of expensive? Thanks a lot *If you're wondering I live in AUS and Internet is really bad and hella expensive here my rental has no connection so wired is not an option.

This is what I've got at the moment. I assume the CPU fan means the fans and not the pump itself hopefully. I've just got it set to standard in the PWM mode. I'm guessing the buzzing is just the Pulsing (Pulse Width Modulation). The other 3 fans that are intake and exhaust are set to DC. They are the AF140mm and I'm not sure if they would benefit from or even support PWM. I'm not sure about the benefits of PWM. All I can tell is that is making a buzzing noise now, haha. As far as the fans adjusting to the load, is this all done automatically?

I've set the SP120mm fans (on the AIO) to PWM mode in the bios as they're pwm fans. Now I'm getting this weird buzzing sound from them. Is this normal or does it have to do with something that is insecure?

Ive just build a new system and I'm wondering if I need to be adjusting any settings for the fans in the BIOS. My setup is 2x140mm intake, 1x140mm exhaust as well as the H100iGTX AIO mounted on top woth 2xSP120mm pwm fans. Everything seems to be working properly in benchmarking and games although the ramp up speeds seem to be fairly random. The fans go from high to low to high again randomly (nothing bad). I was wondering if I need to configure them in a particular way so they ramp up when needed keeping the components at a low temp. I've also noticed the SP fans on the AIO seem ro stay at the same speed and in corsair link only show up as one fan. I've done loads of research on everything when I built the system, besides fan settings. Any information, as detailed as you can give me, with whatever time you have spare would be fantastic. Just wondering how to uninstall Geforce Experience. It wasn't running at all so I decided to uninstall and then reinstall. Now it's stuck on this: I can't stop the uninstallation. What do I do?

Hi, I just built a new system and my @ and " keys are switched? Everything else is fine that I've noticed. I think it might be because I'm using the UK keyboard setting in windows. I'm in AUS and I'm not sure what to set it to. Thank

So what test do I run in Aida? Just the system stability test? And when I click the system stability test it has a bunch of options. Just go with them all? Should I also run say Unigine Valley? So many questions

I just installed Windows 10 and drivers. What are the best programs for stress testing my new system? As well as how / how long I should be performing these tests (First PC build) I just want to make sure my system is stable and working properly before I start usage. I notice Prime95 doesn't show a Win10 download? Anyway, thanks a lot for you information

Decided to buy a copy of 10 seeing as it's a step up from 8.1 from what I've seen.10 is being installed via updates onto previous versions of windows, I would rather just have one os. Thanks for all your feedback.

I'm finishing up a new build tomorrow and I'm not sure what to do with the windows install. I do have a copy of windows 8.1 to upgrade with and I know you can do a 'clean install' using the upgrade feature. Is there any negatives from installing Win10 through 8.1? Obviously having a free upgrade it nice, bit if there is a bunch of Win8.1 junk lurking around I might buy a copy of win10. Basically I want my new ssd to be as clean as possible. If anyone knows about any cons using the upgrade process I'd love to know. Thanks.

I'm in the process of building a computer. I'm currently waiting on a kit of RAM to arrive so I have some spare time to think about other extras.. I was just wondering how much a single user NAS would cost and is it the best backup solution for me as a single user with multiple drives (OS+Apps, Games & Mass storage). I'll also mention that I'm located in AUS and as some of you probably know the internet is laughable here is that has an effect on backup times. Some general information, specific to my situation would be great. As far as: backing up data, how long it would take to backup on AUS internet, security and the unit cost. Thanks a lot

I'm tossing up between these two keyboards. I like the features of the TK but I want the near-blank keys on the Stealth. The TK seems to be the better keyboard combining the functionality of a full keyboard with the form-factor of a tenkeyless. I would honestly prefer to replace the keycaps on the TK if that's an option. Any advice or alternatives on this problem would be great, thanks.

I bought an M65 RGB recently and I noticed when you have the lighting mode set to 'Colour Pulse' it jumps to a colour (Pink) that I haven't selected. What it's doing is starting the pulse pink, then once it reaches the peak it will flick momentarily to white (the selected colour applied to both sections) then back to pink to continue the effect. I'm just trying to get a pure white pulse. Anyone else experiencing this or have a fix? P.S It only seems to do this when I set both options to white.

What is the best kit of DDR4 (2x8GB) for a Z170 build. I've had the HyperX Fury 2400MHz DDR4 kit as it was seemingly one of the better options when I was looking at RAM. I'm not looking at spending any more than the price of the HyperX kit unless you can justify further investment. Thanks
