im surprised its taken this long before these DMCA companies to start spamming twitch like they do youtube and Facebook videos and live streams. I streamed to youtube once where I got copywrite claimed that my World of Warcraft Night elf area music was owned by some random company and they didnt take the video down. Instead they just took monetization....even though I dont even monetize any of my videos.
Until other companies come by and create their own music company that allows internet age usage or the laws for copywrite on streams/videos change it will be a warzone of DMCA claims left and right. but thats just IMO. -
Currently using Corsair Void Elite wireless headset and the charging cable is using micro USB B and I hate it. Would there be any issues with using a Magnetic USB connector Example so I can leave the micro b connector and just use the magnetic cable thus not putting so much strain on the fragile usb connector?

Ram cooling was always a meme. Anyone remember
I also remember people water cooling Raptor drives
At elast to me it was more a styling thing than a full use case. I do remember raptor drives getting very hot and having cooling fins.

China's getting too expensive to do business in, so we'll rapidly see the shift to India as their infrastructure improves, or the Philippines, etc.
What one has to worry about is the effect China's dominance will take on the rest of the world as it rapidly becomes self sufficient.
I would like to see companies more global. Its sad that so many manufacturers went to china since it was cheap labor. This could be the main determining factor as to what made china such a massive superpower now. Well with whats going on now we can only hope companies smarten up and think more long term than the short term gains their are all so used to.

appeasing one of the biggest money making markets in the world like most other companies. This is the new normal, we have to thank almost every country willing to have all manufacturing done in China to thank for this. Purchasing power is a huge thing and whoever has the people to spend the money at that level will decide the rules.
/shrug unless things change we will see this more and more till every big retailer/website/entertainment will bow to the Chinese market since they spend the most and make the companies the most money.
honestly im surprised it doesnt remove videos criticizing the Chinese government or at least have a youtube version meant only for china where it blocks that content and moderates the comments. Maybe this was a security feature for this version that accidentally got turned on for global versions?

Due to the pandemic going on across the world I understand that many companies support will be diminished or slower. please note this could be the case for the trouble you are experiencing with your support tickets. I doubt Sony has stayed this big of a player and not had some good experience supporting their products past warranty/ assisting users with items past warranty. I would say open a thread in the troubleshooting with as much detail as possible with your issue and see if anyone has had similar problems. Check out basic fixed (i am not sure what the problem with the Playstation is)
1. cleaning dust bunnies
2. replacing parts like power cord
3. How long has this been happening
4. Did anything change that could have affected its current problem
troubleshooting really depends on what the issue is exactly. I hope you get it fixing as it can be a pain to be down a source of entertainment.

competition driving prices down and performance and cores up. I have no arguments here. Release those new AMD processors and make intel drop their prices at launch :). Wishful things.

I would never buy from a site like G2A and any mention of them is free publicity to me. Developers hate these sites and there have been some that would rather you pirate the game than purchase from these sites. https://www.pcgamer.com/developers-tell-people-to-pirate-their-games-instead-of-using-g2a/
"Mike Rose noted that a search for his games placed G2A ads for them above the publisher's own link. "We make zero money on our games if people buy them through ads," he said. He recommended people considering buying a game through G2A just pirate it instead."
When you see a product the price is usually set on what the developers require to make their investment back plus make money as we all do in this world. If people are not willing to pay full price they can wait for a sale or they could not purchase the product (this isnt including everything on earth just some software/videogame that are not old cartrage used market). But thats more my opinion as if I were a game developer I would feel exhausted trying to put resources and money into fighting these gray markets that can cause credit chargebacks which hurt companies financially.

Depending on the video Anthony appears to be a well of knowledge and has a great speed for explaining things that can be on the more difficult side.

ye i think ill get a mat to be safe than sorry
Not sure where you are located but you can get cheaper ones by startech. https://www.amazon.ca/Startech-Com-24X26-Inch-Desktop-Anti-Static-M3013/dp/B00009XT3H My old work used to have a bunch of these for workbenches.

ye and an anti static mat to build on right?
If your on a wood table with non carpet flooring you should be ok. Always better safe than sorry so you could get a full mat. the mat is usually when you put parts down. The box they come in is usually sufficient as even LTT has used boxes as places to put parts down.

In the it world. Better safe than sorry. I would say no if your just showing air from a can into the dust bunnies. But if your poking your hands around inside there is always the very small chance that static can happen. I would rather watch someone spend $5 on a strap and user it and not have an issue rather then some weird occurrence where you short a mobo.

I can only imagine how much he was paid out and how much they are giving him monthly for that deal...

The anticheat does have issues, yes, but people are acting like its the first piece of software that has ever had kernal access. there are other common anticheat software that are ring 0. and all your sensitive data is on the application layer anyway. I am most concerned with its incompatibility with some other software, but I hope that riot can work that out by release.
I personally do not allow (much) if not any software that sort of access unless it is actually required for a specific purpose. Anticheat to me shouldnt require that soft or level of access. As software developers learned years ago you can say they will kep you safe but even large companies will have holes. I just dont play games if they require that sort of access. but to each their own definitely. But as I said in the post its a imo thing.

Either become an influencer as most game devs whore out keys. Or be selected for Beta, or watch those streams vs the 1000's of bots in hopes of snagging a key. I would wait on playing it anyway imo. There anticheat has alot of security concerns.

oof that 14nm....Intel just cannot break that 14nm with the performance they are looking for... I remember rumors about the 10th gen going to be 10nm...

about time advertisers had some sort of roadblock (hopefully its a start of something more to come) on them to show ads. They moan and complain and force us to watch intrusive videos and pin-holed youtube to bow down but none of the advertisers have ever been in check.
Maybe this will no longer be the normal ads on the youtube app.

I wanted to build/update my machine with ampere and either the new intel or AMD but Covid most likely postponed due to it. Please release the new cards and processors so I can upgrade my machine lol.

Adblock
I am ok with Websites using ads to help pay the bills. My issue is the very obtrusive use of ads and using purposely deceptive practices to try and get clicks.

Forgot Google even places non stop ads everywhere.... Guess Iv been living in a dream world where everywhere I go in not bombarded with terrible ads making me want to not spend money on their stuff. Cant wait for illegal operations to get wind and start scamming people on mass and this stops almost instantly...Sucks we just have nice ads informing me about benefits about products related to the content I am viewing

Maybe video games and its companies should be subject to local gambling laws like their casino counter parts.... Just because you cannot "Cash out" doesnt mean its not actively playing on the gambling addiction of people...

Twitch streamers threatened with channel bans over copyrighted music

There are a few sub based options for music. What is weird is the imaginary line between listening to say music or watching a movie on a steam or youtube video talking throughout and the "Reaction" videos. There shoudl be more laws made or ammended since the internet age has changed what people believe to be stealing music/movies and being trans-formative. Not saying anything good or bad about each just saying this will keep going deeper and deeper with DMCA until something changes.
