  1. Thanks for the help. You kinda made my decision clear. i think you meant 1070 and not 1080 right?
  2. I kinda go to buy α gpu as a blind man and only based on my budget right now and only knowing that i will use them for Deep learning-Medical Image Computing . MY prof told me : Here in CTRC we use NVIDIA Tesla K-40 C GPU accelerator but this is way too expensive. You can find affordable GPU cards here: http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus So it's kind of Unknown what will help me the most out of the 2 i guess
  3. i Dont think it's worthy to save 50 euros to get a used reference gtx 980 ti from us that can cause me extra import charges. I just wanna know Which card among 980ti matrix , palit 1070 and titan black is the best for Deep learning-Medical Image Computing
  4. Ships to Us only. PLus if it ships to Greece after all it will have a hell of and extra amount of money thanks to import taxes.
  5. well I could not find something better than that in ebay. Even used cards are more expensive than a new asus matrix at 422 . Check it http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_sop=15&_mPrRngCbx=1&_udlo=200&_udhi&LH_BIN=1&_nkw=980 ti&rt=nc&LH_PrefLoc=3&_trksid=p2045573.m1684
  6. Well i will start Medical Image Computing , So what do you suggest?
  7. Hello guys i am trying to get a proper gpu for deep learning (with a normal budget) . I wanna know Which is the best choice among gtx 1070, 980ti and titan black. Palit Gtx 1070 costs 390 euros (without taxes) ,Asus 980 ti matrix costs 422 euros (without taxes also) and a used titan black costs 350 euros. I just wanna choose the best card for deep learning- Medical Image Computing . Power consumption is NOT a issue that matters. I just want PURE power. Plus i read this article : http://timdettmers.com/2014/08/14/which-gpu-for-deep-learning/ and if you check it says Something that maybe matters : «Generally, I would recommend the GTX 1080 or GTX 1070. They are both excellent cards and if you have the money for a GTX 1080 you should go ahead with that. The GTX 1070 is a bit cheaper and still faster than a regular GTX Titan X. These cards currently have poor half-float performance and thus do not have any other advantage than speed over a regular GTX Titan X. Both cards should be preferred over the GTX 980 Ti due to their increased memory of 8GB (instead of 6GB).»
  8. ok i will think of it . Thanks for the info
  9. He is using only cuda -exclusive tools . I do not know what language or software yet cause i kinda don't shit yet about that kind of programming. He will teach me.
  10. i thought of it but my professon only know how to program with cuda cores.. so i have to go with it. I remind you that i do not care about gaming . Only about Pure perfomance /euro
