OP didn't create a new post to get hate. It's the same thing as playing 10 games for 100 hours.

True, though I probably wouldn't use it too much during a car ride since I've got a tablet, phone, and other stuff to do.  And if I'm driving it doesn't matter how portable anything is, since I won't use it

This'll perform better due to the 380 and such. Also, it's a tad bit cheaper . Just saying, you will want to upgrade to an i3 at least in the near future. Also, some PSUs are rebranded Seasonic units, like the XFX TS I chose.

I think you misunderstood my question. I already have Windows 10, I want to know if I can dual-boot OS X without having to reinstall Windows.

You can use any SSD that works with Windows with your Mac...just format it to HFS+

If you are booting from a live USB to save your HDD, you should probably just save up for an SSD since they are so much cheaper now + it will really improve your performance.

I agree, if you were to upgrade the processor it would have to be something like an i7 2600 which isn't really worth the extra ~$200, and adding 2 more gigs of RAM wouldn't help much. Just buy a new SSD or save up for a new PC.

I'm pretty sure Minecraft favors stronger single core CPU's.  And the Pentium can be upgraded to higher end CPU's later on.

As long as you have more than your monitor's refresh rate, you are fine, unless you have a 288 Hz monitor, which I doubt.

I used Lubuntu a few times, basically just a lightweight version of Ubuntu using LXDE so not as nice looking but definitely faster.
