  1. It depends on budget, although I would not get the ACER Predator X34, as it has so many issues. The LG version is good and the Samsung version. Do you want high refresh rates. If you do the Dell 1440p TN Gsync version is good. I would stay away from the 1440p IPS 144hz versions, as they use AU Optronics panels (ACER, awful QC) which has bad backlight bleed and IPS glow on most of the panels. The ASUS PG348Q is coming out soon, which is another option, it should have less issues than the ACER Predator X34
  2. So even with stock core clock my RAM speed is still 3001Mhz according to AIDA64. However CPU Z says it is 1499Mhz AIDA64 CPUZ Also my VCCIN is at 1.904V and my System Agent Voltage is at SA 1.370. These are on AUTO however that is the value to the side of it.
  3. I will try more memtest86 first, I have done 8 hours on stock settings with 1500Mhz RAM now with memtest86 without an error. I will try the overclocked settings later
  4. Not all IPS/PLS panels have problems, you really need to look online. For example the LG 34 inch Curved version has less issues. AU Optronics cannot make AHVA panels, as most of them seem to have problems.
  5. Yeah, these monitors do have a lot of IPS glow and backlight bleed. That is the problem with AU Optronics (ACER) panels.
  6. I will do another memtest86 later and will do the UEFI version as well
  7. It came back with no errors. So now I am not sure what is going on.
  8. Yeah, I just got two Windows 10 blue screens when testing memory with XTU, so I think my RAM is bad
  9. So I done CPU stress test on XTU for an hour, it was fine, on stock clocks with BCLK 125.00Mhz. Then I done memory stress test and got Kmode_Exception_not_handled Windows 10 error.
  10. So I tried Intel Extreme Tuning both CPU and memory stress test for 15 minutes and it gave me no crashes or stability problems. It is only with 125Mhz, clock speed is at stock clocks. Could Intel Burn test be the problem for it having stability problems without overclock.
  11. Do you mean at stock or when overclocked, as it my computer crashes on both.
  12. Hello Thanks for the responses, I have not tried XTU stress test. I will do it now.
  13. Hello So I have MSI X99 Godlike, 5930K, Corsair Dominator 32GB 3000Mhz and EK Predator 360mm When I tried my 4.4Ghz overclock using 125.00Mhz BLCK and 1.3V I got crashes in games and Intel Burn Test says my overclock in unstable. So I went back to stock core clocks and kept my 125.00Mhz (as my RAM needs it) however during Intel Burn Test my system froze twice and then the third time it said unstable overclock. Temperatures for both overclocked and stock are fine (71c highest stock and 85c highest overclock, however it normally is around 76c) Could I have some help please. Thanks
  14. Yeah, I got my 5930K at 4.4Ghz now, however after about 4 hours my games crash and after a lot of tests Intel Burn test finds my overclock unstable. So I just wanted to know if what I am trying to do is even possible, as I have 3000Mhz RAM The RAM is Corsair Dominator 32GB 3000Mhz
  15. Hello Has anyone else got a MSI Godlike with a 5820K or 5930K at 4.4Ghz using 125Mhz bus speed, with 3000Mhz RAM, wanted to know if it is possible on the MSI X99 Godlike Thanks
  16. It should be free, I would have spoken to them about it. You could have sent it to Amazon for them to send it to ASUS
  17. The Corsair H110i GTX (280mm) or H100i GTX (240mm) is good, however you will need to change the fans if you want it quiet. The EK Predator 240mm is the best though, I have the EK Predator 360mm and it is so quiet and after 6 hours of gaming, my 5930K 4.4Ghz at 1.3V gets between 56c-62c. So the EK Predator 240mm is the best 240mm AIO, as you want that size.
  18. Ashes of the Singularity uses more than 4 cores, which is the first DirectX12 game.
  19. Have a good day. It is entirely up to you which you want to buy. It is a shame LG or Samsung is not making one soon.
  20. Thanks, the 5930K is better for gaming, due to more cores as more games are starting to use them with DirectX12
  21. Display port 1.2 is the only connector that has the bandwidth available for 3440x1440p 100hz I will be getting that ASUS PG348Q as well, due to the current state of the ACER Predator X34, which is awful.
  22. I will not argue with you any more, as it becomes pointless, due to your lack of knowledge. "Spouting nonsense" all the issues are online, you might want to look at them. Also you cannot say "ASUS will have the same problems" as the problems are not with the panel. It was ACER's QC, which is why they managed to fix the sleeping issue. Still got another 6 issues to fix now. Corsair would not get the blame, you seem to lack knowledge. If the Cherry keys stopped working in many Corsair keyboards and it was found out Cherry's production line was to blame, then of course Corsair would get the blame for the keyboard. However people with a lack of knowledge would blame Corsair but the real reason was Cherry's fault. The same applies to the ASUS PG279Q If you actually look at my system specs, you will notice I have no ASUS products within my system. I just think ASUS make much better monitors than ACER and I am not sure why people recommend the ACER Predator X34 when it has so many issues. Anomaly, just wait for the ASUS PG348Q then decide which one you want.
  23. Stop trying to cause an argument this was already discussed and you are bringing it up again. AU Optronics (ACER) make the panel, it is awful. ASUS has to use it as no other company makes the panel. Therefore ASUS cannot do anything about it. Also AU Optronics cannot make many decent panels so ASUS will keep getting terrible panels. Just look at other ASUS monitors not from AU Optronics panels. You will notice they are better So I will use my example, if Corsair's keyboard had a critical failure after 6 months, that was due to Cherry's keys, which stopped working for a large number of Corsair keyboards. Who's fault would it be, Corsair's or Cherry's. It would be Cherry's fault as they make the keys for Corsair. Anyway, do not buy the ACER Predator X34 Anomaly, it has so many issues. Look online and you will notice how many there are on the monitor. Wait for the ASUS PG348Q or the Samsung monitor, then decide which monitor you want.
