  1. Thinking about buying a new GPU but have no idea what to pick. Of course id like a 4090 but the cheapest one of those costs 2000 USD here. Now I was maybe thinking about something like the 3080, 6950XT, 6900XT or something similar. Any botlleneck is my system if id go for any of those? This would mostly be for 1440p gaming at hopefully 144hz or more. Also might i need a PSU upgrade? Any input would be much appreciated My current system is: GPU: RX5700XT CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X MOBO: Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE V2 RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX Black DDR4 3600MHz 2x8GB PSU: 650W older corsair.
  2. Went with: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Corsair Vengeance LPX Black DDR4 3600MHz 2x8GB Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE V2 And its running great, all my games at 130 fps pluss maxed out and I'm loving it! Thanks for all the help guys!
  3. The i7 might be a good choice tho i dont know when they will have it in stock. Some other site might have it tho. Am currently using Intel TS13X Liquid Cooling for my cpu. Thinking about just going aircooling but would need a new case i think as well. Thank you for taking the time in looking that up on a norwegian site, much appreciated!
  4. So is the 5600X better then the 5700G with less cores and less threads? Id go for the 5800x but its a bit pricy at about 513 usd. As for the ram was thinking CMK16GX4M2Z3600C18..
  5. Seeet, thanks for the help man, Munch appreciated
  6. Thanks for the help man, going with the amd cpu. Motherboard is out of stock for the unknown future, is this a good replacement Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE V2? Also the ram you selected i cant get here it appears, is Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3600MHz 16GB a good comprimise? Thanks for the help!
  7. Budget (including currency): 5-600 usd Country: Norway Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): currently using: Intel Core i5-4690K, Socket-LGA1150 MSI Z97A GAMING 7, Socket-1150 Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1333MHz 8GB CL9 x2 ASUS Radeon RX 5700 XT ROG Strix OC Want to upgrade everything except my videcard. Not looking to overclock anything so just need the basics, the more bang for the buck the better. Budget is 5-600 but if it can be done for under 500 usd id be happy. I play games at 1080p at as close to 144hz that i can. Thanks alll. Viperan
  8. I'm sure, but if it gets me close to 100fps on settings medium to high in Apex and warzone then I'm fine for now. Because right now I'm currently playing at 40-50 with low to medium settings mostly low. Appreciate the advice mate, might keep an eye out for an i7. Tho CPU/Mobo will be purchased next year.
  9. That's the plan, but right now I need something better then my GTX 770. Not much fun playing games at 40-50 fps. But yeah CPU upgrade will come in time. Thanks for the advice.
  10. Thanks, 5700 xt is looking like a good choice. Thanks again for the help!
  11. Hello all, I'm looking for a new video card but I'm not sure if my CPU will be a major bottleneck for what ever I get. I am currently running a i5 4690K with 16gb of ddr3 ram. I'm looking to run games like Apex legends, warzone and similar games at atleast high settings on 1080P and hopefully utilize my 144hz monitor as well. Any recommendations for a video card that would do that for around 400 USD or cheaper? Or would I need a cpu/Mobo upgrade as well? Thanks!
  12. Yeah thinking the zotac will be nice, looking into it now. Really appreciate the help, thank you both for the innput
  13. Will i need a card like that for 1440p tho if its only for editing? I can understand for gaming but thats not really a priority.
  14. Which 1070 from zotac would you suggest?
