  2. got a new psu, this time the computer starts and boots up with the gpu attached (corsair RMx 750w) but the gpu fans don't spin and monitors get no signal when connected to the card. i think the card is dead, going to open up card and see if anything burned on inside
  3. yes there's two on the card. I tried to turn on by just plugging in one of the 8pin and the computer turned on and booted into windows, then I shutdown and plugged the second 8pin in but now it wont turn on. I unplug it and now it turns on.
  4. Guess I'll just have to run by my local best buy and pick one to test tomorrow. Thanks
  5. Seasonic X Series 750w and a gigabyte ga-z97x-ud3h-bk. I like tested it on other pcie power-slots on the psu (its fully modular) still same and everything else working fine.
  6. Hi guys, Have a AMD r9 390 GPU. Had a power outage today and came back to my PC, it would not turn on, press power button and nothing happens no power to anything. After fiddling around I was able to turning my computer on but only after unplugging my GPU. I plug it back in and back to square one, PC wont power on. Then some more fiddling around and i figure out that this only happens when i had right side 8 pin on the gpu is connected. (the gpu has 2 8pin connections). The plug in the 8 pin on the left, the pc turns on, I plug in the right, pc doesnt turn on. RIP.. Anyone have any clue? >_> am I toast here?
  7. Sadly, I have not been following the new chip sets for a while, and haven't gotten around to do much research. Will see when i get some free time at work

  11. You dont have anything in D: ... you can just delete the volume and rename E: to D:
  12. delete the partions through disk management which you don't have stuff in and then you can just rename E: and Q:
  13. have you tried a different pci-e slot?
