vipirius's Achievements

  1. I have a Sapphire 7870xt and while I have a pretty great OC on it, most games are still bottlenecked by the 2gb VRAM
  2. OSX is pretty good, if my rig was Intel I would probably tri boot hackintosh it, but alas I have no such luck.
  3. Yeah if there ever comes a MOBA that gets even remotely as big as Dota2/LoL I'll be very surprised. The only other MOBA that's even on my radar is Smite and that's because it's a totally different type of gameplay. ForsakenLive is correct, companies need to start making original ideas instead of making more Dota/LoL clones.
  4. Thanks for the answers guys but I'm looking more for actual books right now. Udemy and teamtreehouse are paid and the Google tutorials are too basic/not in depth enough.
  5. So I'm looking to get into Android programming and would like a good book to help. I'm already decent at Java/general OOP so I just need to learn the Android side of things. I need something that's recent(Android 4.2+) and preferably uses the new Android Studio tools instead of Eclipse. Any recommendations are appreciated.
  6. I have a 7870XT (Granted it's OC'd) and can run BF4 on high-ultra just fine. You really don't need a 970 for those games.
  7. Not having enough cable management space cuz of all the stuff you fit in your case. Not having a modular PSU is also probably one of the causes of this.
  8. When you're studying Computer Engineering yet people still don't know half the technological stuff you're talking about...
  9. I thought as much. Not to mention you'd have to carry around a huge ass graphics card and probably a power cable which kinda defeats the purpose of a laptop IMO.
  10. Yeah I remember seeing videos 1-2 years ago but couldn't be sure and I didn't want to misinform anyone so I played it safe. Surprising to know that it's been possible for so long though. You would have thought after 5+ years it would be somewhat usable and decent.
  11. I'm pretty sure this has been possible for over a year now.
  12. Thanks for the giveaway Linus & Zotac! As for the cards, I think they look pretty cool, plus the beastly coolers means good overclocks without sounding like a vacuum cleaner. Also, I love how almost every single recent post is by a newbie.
  13. Replace csgo with dota 2 and thats me lol
